Ok, wow, I read that 3 times Bruce, and I'm not quite sure what you said. It appears to be very tongue in cheek.

But I'm pretty slow from too many years of loud noises, 'splain me more....

Retired military men are NOT out there by the thousands.

Retired military men do NOT have a special obligation to speak out against any of this, any more than you do.

My friends don't live anywhere near this mess.

Don't try and put this on the lap of my friends and neighbors.

I was not trying to associate myself or friends or comrades with the "Oath Keepers" from NV scene in ANY WAY.

Edit: From the Oath Keepers Page:
Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, reserves, National Guard, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to the Constitution

They forgot to add that us military men also swore an oath to follow the orders of the president.

Bruce
If you were speaking of my Colonel friend you missed the important bit: "clawing at his casket". Roy died several years ago. He would certainly be strenuously objecting.

It gets really good around the 5 minute mark, and even better around 8 minutes when Bundy wants stuff delivered "under these flags". Which flags are those Cliven? The US flag you don't recognize?

"In one hour" damn, that's funny.

Here is more info from Stewart Rhodes and company on the rift between the alleged “leaders” of the militia down at the Bundy Ranch. This debriefing focuses on just a few men who would sabotage Oath Keepers’ mission at the Bundy Ranch. It explains some sequences and some activities which you’ve not heard about before.

Please understand that Oath Keepers has great faith in the majority of good men and women in the militias represented at the Ranch. We just have problems with people who want to stir up trouble, for such people are most often what we call “Agents Provocateur”. We are not accusing anyone of being an agent provocateur, but we are definitely identifying certain actions and statements by questionable men as being exactly the sort of activity an agent provocateur would display. It is just a few, and we think that the greater majority of militiamen and militiawomen serving there are tops, and you have our support and our gratitude for your sacrifice for the Bundy Ranch mission. Well done. Oath Keepers suggests that you do question your leadership to be sure they are who and what they claim to be. We would especially encourage people to look into any claims about any specialty service in the military that any of the current leaders might claim.

But note please – this debriefing session with five Oath Keepers is important, but this only covers one aspect of our work at the Bundy Ranch in Bunkerville, Nevada. Oath Keepers marches on, and our reports will continue to dispel the psy-op rumors about our work at the ranch. View this video to find many answers to questions currently flying about the Internet. Try to help people learn the truth by sending this to your lists. Thanks!

Why do they keep ignoring the part of the military oath to follow the orders of the president?

I say the Feds should stand back when the "militias" start fighting each other. Wimmen an' children be *amned. let 'em fight to the last man standing and then arrest him.

In other news BENGHAZI is finally OUTED, with the emails to PROVE what a lying sack of crap admin we have right now..

This Benghazi?

Not all Republicans are thrilled with Issa's renewed attention to the issue. Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.), chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, said Thursday that his committee has interviewed more than a dozen witnesses closely connected to the Benghazi attack and concluded that, contrary to what Issa is alleging, there is no evidence that State Department officials delayed a decision to deploy resources to the scene.

Members of McKeon's committee also called it "puzzling" that Issa would find their work "incomplete" given that all of their briefings on the issue were open to members of Issa's committee, FOX News' Chad Pergram reported.

Issa's a prime example of money in politics. His own.
He's very wealthy and thoroughly outspent his opponents to get elected in Republican Orange County. Before that, he was skunked in his campaign for Governor. He had no chance in the Bay area or Sacramento.
Issa would make an ideal McCarthy-ite. A conspiracy every under bush. An egotistical attention hog. Facts are entirely irrelevant.
Wants the spotlight and publicity. He's become well known nationally just by being a jac**off. I think he wants the spotlight of investigation. Makes him look like a Tea Bagger without having to be that stupid.
I believe he's shooting to run for Pres in '16. He certainly believes he's smarter than the other possible candidates. This might be true.

I sure wish someone would remind the Constitutional scholars and History professors of the Sovereign Citizens MOOvement in Bunkerstan that the South lost the Civil War. Get over it.

Yup.

All they've got is this, the ACA website debacle, and a couple of equally insignificant other little things to go into the midterm elections.

No master plan to get the economy going full blast, just some ideological hurr durr. Won't offset their record of unfunded wars and stratospheric deficits.

They've really blown it. Can't see them taking the Senate. They need a Democrat style circular firing squad.

Hey survival, i happen to know there were Viet Nam era vets there at Bunkerville. You gonna bag on them now..Oh,, and they were vets, that fought in the shyt as it were.

Yeah Ron, I'll bag on them. There are a lot of vets that are as bat sh#t crazy as anyone else, sometimes more.

So, do I take offense to vets needlessly taking up arms against their own government? Yes.

I didn't realize our veterans benefits package included "armed resistance against law enforcement officers," Ron. Republicans must have slipped that in to help replace one of their many cuts to actual veterans benefits.
