Anyone been to the Carnival in Rio? There is an add for it on this page. I figure if I am going to flee this country so I don't' end up in one of them Fema camps, then I should go someplace where they know how to party and they appreciate twinkies.

What would my long lost cousin Daniel Boone say about all this?
Daniel Boone would have agreed that the rights of the individual should reign supreme. Almost every swingin' dick here would agree with that guiding light on some level. He also agreed with the federal government of his day in many ways.
He also would have had little clue about understanding a 21st century, global economy, the white guy isn't right about everything world, where the colored citizens are supposed to have as many rights as the "non" colored citizens.
Ron, I never disagreed that the "government bears close watching." I think one of the founding fathers said that? Jefferson?
But more citizens believing that their own government is the actual enemy? We're clearly not that far down the path of destruction in my opinion.
This present government is universes more just for the common man than the vast majority of governments in human history.

Ron, As a liberal who complained vigorously about the patriot act, I was laughed at by the conservatives on this forum. Thats just one of the reasons many of us are confused about why you seem more worried about the liberals then you do the conservatives.
