I dont see Wege as a hipocrite. Hes expressing his opinion. By this thread i take his opinin to be that of anti-gun sentiment. And he openly states his presumption that gun ownership singularly devalues the owner.
The vegan wearing leather, just like those who eat meat yet deplore hunting, is a hipocrite.
At least in that regard. I would not automaticly discount them as worthless.
But please, take a deep breath so you can declare our wonderful freedom and decry guns at the same time. Or religion. Or cell phones. Or the damage from bolting.
And how all of them should be banned.

Guns and freedom? Depends on who uses 'em and for what purpose.
To judge a vegan with leather shoes as a hypocrite shows ignorance. There are many reasons to be vegan, aren't there? Riley Wyna on this forum did so for health/weight loss reasons, for instance. I'm not vegan, btw, jus' sayin'.
Weedge got out the reflex hammer and your limbs are hoppin'!

the following post is PURE COMEDY and not intended. But it may be an accurate way i would have replied ten years prior..;-) so here goes:
WHAT WEEG! You tree huggin skewarrel fornicatin wanna be naturalist! How f-ing dare you come up with that crap- i wuz climbing topping trees when you were in diapers. Ive fell 11.5 dbh and cut commercially a winter or two. ive planted and been responsible for the planting of MILLIONS of trees. And you want tough? try growin up in cc in the early seventies. Or try bouncin when your near fifty at a titty bar full of drunk college kids-so you aint the only one that utilizes yur hands bub. Not by a far stretch. I put my life on the line for those very woods you lay claim too more than once. Paid my dues ten times over in searches for the lost- SAR ribbon with four bronze and one silver clasp, SAR FIND ribbon as well. Fought fires from berkley to trinity to idaho to black hills to ALL OF N cali (siege of 87), etc etc etc. Had four friends in total die in such efforts.
You got some ballz to insult folks like me over the fact we choose to exercise a right to carry arms.

im a murderous sob.. I love to shoot defenseless birdies deer, antelope elk etc. I eat them and they are good. I use their skins, fur and feathers as well. I trade in skins,, a skin merchant.. EVIL as can be in some eyes.
Yet we examine our history and find that we have always been hunters, gatherers and farmers. And we always will be.
And Weeg,, i certainly dont take this as a serious "thing".. Im sure we could be saying the same things face to face and laugh about it in the end..
besides, your aware im a gun knutt that is liable to be packin and have been accused of having a third grade mentality on here ZOIKS!;-)

I don't know Riley's thoughts on guns, maybe he'll weigh in. You were talking about vegans wearing leather being hypocrites, which, as I pointed out, aren't mutually exclusive or hypocritical, depending on the reasons for being vegan.
I also don't see the bearing of the vegan who hates hunters in anything Weedge said at all. Anyway, we're all hypocrites in some form or fashion, it's not really a mind blower.
If you want to reflexively scream "vegan!" after getting nut punched, I guess that's your right. Or condition? I dunno, some kind 'er brain thing. Quick question. Do you scream "falling" or "vegan" when you take a whipper? This is important, please be honest.

Nah. Just random crap i guess. Comes from having met enough with that particular mindset that it came to mind as a worthwhile example. Perhaps not.
Just tired of the (generalizing here) "i hate that lets ban it" mindset.
