Did you hear Barack Obama spent 10 million dollars of tax payer money to buy a Jimmy Carter cardigan to use as a prayer rug on air force one?

LEB - I know! This is so 'thru the looking glass' weird. Too bad he didn't
invite Bush; which would have been to the n'th power more crazy.

Bill made a good effort at spinning the chaos back from the brink.

edit- Anyone else notice the unusual expression on the President's face?
Hadn't seen that one before; while Bill was talking. Pupils the size of quarters. Uh-oh.

Wow, how sh#t changes! I wonder if Werner would say the same if Cheney or Bush did the same.

I doubt it. Loss of respect and integrity....unmeasurable. And yet Werner comes off as wise.

I feel slighted...I used to respect you, man.

Coolest President ever.

Like Regan. Too busy for useless news conference.

I could be wrong, but I think in 50 years we'll be adding Regan and Obama to Mt Rushmore.

As long as no climbing routes are harmed.

Watch the video again with the premise that they'd both got high
before coming out to talk. Makes perfect sense then.

Bluering,

Cheney and his pet never gave press conferences before doing what they wanted. It's best of course to say sorry after than ask permission. (Oh yeah, that darned American Constitution)...

Jim

No.

They never stood on a stage and deferred to a former prez the way he did. And for what? His wife was waiting?

Are you kidding? That's a real leader, right there....

Matt, leave the poor idiot Beck out of it, he's irrelevant.

Nice try though!

EDIT: Palin has NOTHING to do with this!!!!! Get over her!

Wait, if McCain couldn't handle some questions, I'm damn sure Sarah would have stepped up, unlike the no-existant Biden. Where was he to fill in the shoes of his prez???? They had to call in 'blow job' Billy????

WTF??

Locker fails to realize that a sitting prez had to defer to a former prez to answer HIS questions? That is no big deal? He couldn't take 30 min of his own time????

HE'S THE F*#KING PREZ!!!!! HE'S SUPPOSED TO LEAD US!!!

Obama has a good sense of priorities. Gets bored when nothing is happening.

Regan was even better at that. Stuff would happen and he didn't even know about it. Too busy being president or whatever.

I hate it when presidents comment and react to every little news item. Clinton and Bush did that a lot. Obama does too. Regan NEVER.

I'm a republican philosophically but the Republican Party has utterly betrayed us for so long, screwed things up. I look to the Democrats now for lower taxes, smaller government, and fiscal responsibility. Since I've never seen Glen Beck and I don't listen to Rush (except to laugh at his buffoonery), I've got no major problems with this dude.

Who I'm really looking for though is a Julius Cesar. He expanded the empire and made foreigners pay all the taxes. If he were president, like in the 1940's. Japan, Germany & Italy would be paying taxes to the USA and the US citizens would pay nothing. If we had to go in and fix up or defend any other country, it would be all or nothing. They would get to keep their culture, and enjoy uninterrupted prosperity and productivity and would thank us with 10% of all their income.

See, you got me started.

This is why we're at where we're at....God help us....

EDIT:

You lost me, dude, if you can't see his failure here. It WAS an important press conferance. And even if not, the way he deferred it to Bill, was way lame.

Weak, IMO. And other countries watch this too....
