Flew into SFO last night. Concannon Petite Sirah.
Today, five wine tastings in Livermore. Retzlaff far and away the best!!
You can buy Wente Riva Ridge, a superb Chardonnay, for $14 at Trader Joe's. The winery sells it for $22!!!

Too much snow up high. Too dry down low. I'm going hiking in the mid elevations all weekend.

Wow, I can't believe Chris Mac closed McTopo on a Friday night! What was he thinking??
We've had a couple great days and evenings down on the El Cap Bridge. Last night - Saturday not Friday - was Shipoopi's birthday, so we enjoyed some brews down on the bridge at sunset. Thanks to the South Lake pizza girls who stopped by to join us. Fun times in the Centre of the Universe.

Tonight with some good friends: crockpot chile verde pork burritos, corn on the cob, and a bottle of La Crema Chardonnay and then one of Justin "Justification". followed by my killer strawberry rhubarb pie with a little bit of apple and peach.
Good times.

Had a 2012 Whalebone Ballena, probably the best white we've had from Paso Robles,
and we've had a lot from there as we go there a lot.
