Wayno & all! A couple weeks back, I politely asked folks attending if they would like to suscribe to Wayno's gourmet dinner program.

I did not notice a response, although I have been mostly off ST and having vacation fun for the lats two-weeks.

Sigh.

Next week, I will email participants and ask for "yes, no, fuk-you, or I'll answer soon" responses.

Wayno? With my suspected/imagined "we want to eat Wayno Gourmet dinners" list of 20 people, are you able to give an estimate of meal cost for Mon-Thursday nights?

If there are only twenty eaters, then it would easily be less than a hundred bucks a meal. Total. Divide by twenty, and you get the picture. If there are thirty plus, then at least a hundred, maybe add a double-saw-buck. The wine is another deal. I'm going to bring a bunch and just see how it rolls.

Wayno,

I'd be on your list of eaters. Do you need cash in advance or ok to pay at COR? Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Pay at the door.

I sure hope my feet feel good enough to get in a few pitches.

Anybody know any history of the area? I understand that the Emmigrant Trail passed by COR. Or was it the Oregon Trail? Or the Mormon Trail? All of the above?

Will the Wayno menu be GMO-Free, Gluten Free, Fat Free, Sugar Free, Animal Cruelty Free, Fair Trade, organic, vegan, etc. etc. ?

Because I only eat bacon and food items containing bacon.

I'm about to book my flights for this shindig.

Is anyone going to be climbing on the Monday, or are people just planning to arrive on that day?

Same question re Friday. Anybody planning to climb, or are people just heading out on that day.

If it's warm, I'm thinking Aperol Spritz.

If snowing, like last year, Hot Chocolate with Peppermint Schnaps, like in the Mountain Room.

You guys are killing me - I rarely mix drinking at night with climbing the next day. I'm too much of a lightweight and it affects my strength (of which I have barely any to begin with). But all this talk of Italian reds have me wanting to imbibe around the campfire. What's a girl to do?

The secret is to have one glass Phyl! And lots of water!!

I'm in for food, but Wayne knows that. I'd imagine being in the cookies camp he'll have some chores for me to do as well!

I'm just going to make a big mess and ask everyone else to clean it up. Isn't that the corporate model?

Seriously though, I'm trying to plan it so most of the actual work will already be done so i can go have some fun.

A little wine
you'll climb just fine.
Too much booze
down the rock you'll ooze.

Phylp, Wayno and Big Mike...let's get it on!

edit: I'm bringing a crampon for my SPECIAL campfire game which will help you resist the fine Italian wines.

Polish wine or Polish style? Bring them both.

I'm trying to find this Italian wine with the name "Ca' Donini" on it. I think it's a white but I haven't tried any yet.

Red, white, and there might even be a Rose in there.

Hey Fritz, tell me about some local fishing.

O.K., what about that plum flavored gasoline you guys drink? I think they call it slivovitz.
