Fritz- I think i get this geriatric math you speak of. You simply subtract ten years from your actual age?? ;)

Wayno!-I'm so glad Bob is feeling better! It was great to get to bond with him. Give him a belly rub for me.

Bob was such a nuisance at dinner.. Lol

Mouse!- glad your enjoying my stuff bro ;) i have been quite enjoying your photos! It's always nice to see yourself from a different perspective.

Kevin and I were at the aforementioned Breadloaves too that day. Just on the sunny side. After a couple climbs with the boys I begged for some shade and we adjourned to the shady side in the trees.

Jim dealing with a stuck rope while Moose belays.

It was after that we went to Parking Lot Rock and Greg hit up Thin Slice.

Greg on Thin Slice 10a

I went for a walk.

After i one hanged the climb and fought to get Gregs two stuck cams out, Kev styled it and we decided to head back to camp.

Donini mid tale entertaining the troops.

Group camp. Mouse totally ganked this angle from me. :)

Saugy and Mari soaking up the beta from Donini. Mark, Fritz, Roger, Mouse and Wayno are behind.

Moose enjoying another tale a la Donini, while Angela and Phyl chat in the background. Fritz and Mark are manning the grill.

Wayno cooking up a mean pasta. Moose appreciating the skills, Masha facilitator extraordinaire, Greg checking out the appies.

Mice like cheese last i heard... Mark and Greg are hiding in the smoke.
The sausages were divine with the pasta and meatballs.

Mark, chef's assistant extraordinaire.

Glad u guys are enjoying these pics! Mouse and i seem to be in stereo at the moment which is nice. I got more! Coming up soon!

neebee's post reminded me that I'm working on a theory that meat bees get so mean because they have to deal with these thorny, pulpy objects during this season, and they feel all bitchy and take it out on campers.

Meanwhile, Mark is at Practice Rock on "Flirts Lead." Oh, you kids!

Why thank you sir! Perhaps the allure of pictures will entice him to check it out.

Kev, i most certainly do! You are getting a little ahead of me though, i will be there shortly... I also have lots of other climbing shots, i am only using a sampling of them here, heavy on the group shots.

Gotta save something for the tr! Lol

I don't know about you all, but I'm sill kinda buzzed from the Cor trip. It wasn't all fun, there was some work involved, but the general tone was peaceful and productive to the point that those two concepts can compliment one another. I had the sublime feeling that the sky was smiling at us. Except of course, Thursday afternoon, where the sky could only in the briefest of moments, be considered as happy. Let's do it again, next time.

I learned a few things, and that isn't always easy to say sometimes. Especially when you think you have something figured out. I'm learning to cherish these moments, no matter how seemingly difficult. Now let's all tip one, and, Ching-ching.

Hi folks.
It was a great pleasure to have met you all at City of Rocks. Mary and I felt honored to be able to join in on Tuesday's dinner and the accompanying campfire tales.

Wayno was an awesome chef (the photos are proof, I think), Fritz and Heidi were great hosts.. thanks, you two, for putting this together. Great conversations, and a a lot of laughs were had.. we hope to meet all of you again.

It turned out to be a bad decision to leave early because we ended up getting rained out in the Tetons (sorry to hear about your brief storm there, ours lasted three days!). With the beta we received from Donini and Jack T. we felt we were dialed in for success on the Grand! Of course, Mother Nature always ends up having the last say..

We did get to climb in Montana at Gallatin Canyon, and up in Canmore before I drove the last of our 4500km (!) loop to get home and back to work (Mary stayed in the Rockies to do a weekend yoga retreat, lucky girl).

And now I've been able to view the stories and photos that you guys have posted up.. awesomely entertaining.. Mouse, you're a true artist! Moose Drool, Big Mike, HV, Fritz, Spider, Em Knott, BDC, Phyl.. and the rest of ya, cheers!

You and Mary were very productive at COR sending many classics while us older folks putzed about.

Lol. Yes Spider. Quite amusing, especially given the photos origin...

Wayno- Ya buddy I hear ya! :) Especially because i'm spending so much time looking at photos from it! Lol

Mouse! Nice stuff as always! You captured me taking my only iphone picture on tuesday night. It was a pano so obviously you had lots of time.. Lol

Don- nice pics bud!! Sorry to hear you got rained out, but did you have to bring it home with ya? Lol just kidding! ;) let's get out soon!

These were all tuesday night as well. Pasta night! What a popular night too! There weren't any leftovers on pasta night!!

Grippa enjoying a beer on the rocks

Spider and Rodger enjoying the evening light.

Mouse digging into the pasta while Fritz and Heidi finish preparing the table.

Spider and Angela getting some while Rodger looks on with anticipation and Heidi enjoys a sip of her wine.

The chef eats. Mouse shows us his Tommy Caldwell impersonation... Wrong finger stupid!! Lol can you believe he cut off his finger just for that joke?? Lol

Spider seems to be in contemplation of the thread at hand.. Lol

Dinner selfie!! While maintaining a interesting enough conversation to leave Phylp with that semi perplexed look on her face.

Mouse approves, and Rodger and Spider are in the thick of it while the rest of camp loads up on some pasta.

Imstien checking out his photos while Heidi chats with someone.

The Pat and Jack and Paige show in the background is conversing with TWP and his lovely wife Judy.

Also in the background is a beautiful Idaho sunset brought to you by too many hours of photoshop stitching... Lol

Alright... More pics soon! Including the fabulous Twin Cracks I know Kev would like to see.

It was a late, tipsy night, followed by a late morning.

The sun had drained my energy the day previous, and it was tough to get going.

I went to the bathroom and snapped this shot of the view while waiting for the porta pottie

Note the fly in the center of the shot.. Lol

Greg and Kev were patient, and hiked up to my camp to get me.

We hiked around the south side of the Twins. Lots of nice boulders here...
