Kudos to his Fatness

Just shows the 1% can save a lot of money living in his mom's basement ;-)

Somehow I knew this thread would be about Fatty.

Peace

It was his call, but I wish he would have blacked out his TAX ID numbers and address (but perhaps it's his office).

Funds to good use....

hey there say, jaybro and all...

i don't know all the 'what happens' as the 'don't get along'ers'
here... i just always hope and pray that folks sort it out
and keep our quilt sewed, to be a to its best potential for
all the climbers here...

you all really belong together...

well i just said that to say this:
i may not know what this is about, but i do know this, as
i come from a big family and have four kids, and now see the
grandkids and step-ones:

we are ALL different... and we all belong, for various reasons
on this ol' earth...

we all have heartfelt jobs that we do...
and outreaches and even 'in-reaches'--meaning our homes,
or as 'care-givers'..

some even, as i once was, don't do much (though i get to, now)
we just shine, instead, and bloom where we are planted...

thus, knowing that we are all differnt...
here's a hope and prayer for new buffering and
smoothing of the rough edges here, so folks
will overlap better and join better in either
conversations, debates, or presenting differences...

say--we may even find that we are all a bit the SAME as well,
in areas NOT yet seen, then...

god bless to all this day...
and may we all find our ways to give, even when we can't give funds:
we can sure give love or encouragement, or--

perhaps just a friendly HANDSHAKE when we come to find a differance
that we can't handle too well...

at least it makes for a new clear field, for the
next day, :)

hey there say, ekat...

as to your post, just above...
Interesting. . . a friend and I were just discussing the dismay attached to people who bring nothing to the table that money can't buy.

No joy.

No sweetness.

No laughter.

No love.

Just something they bought and paid for; believing, wholeheartedly, that that's enough

(left the last part out, think it was, 'dismay')

WELL:
wow, i have seen that, as well:

folks that spoil kids with gifts, but never give them real time, or
the deeper love of: i am giving you time to share part of me, AND to get to know-and-relate you--that is a part that family members will never forget... (had to edit a bit, in there, that i left out)..

all the storebought stuff, to buy love that way, just amounts to a pile
of 'junk' later, when the kids turn into teenagers, and, are spoiled, and yet confused inside when they no longer get pacified... and--rightly then, as, no one knows or understand them (or what went wrong)... all everyone cares about then is: everyone is bothered and 'inconvinienced'...

right now, i am praying for some folks related to us, over that, :(

love means, giving of yourself, with the care to give what is most precious:

TIME...

saidly it is misused and horded these days, :(

*just a commercial, folks--i know i took it a bit off track,
but as to ekat's important note, but i've seen the 'principle in action' and how it's hurt families, so--it set me into:

mommy mode...

hey there say, ekat... thanks for sharing... yeah, i did not think you had, but on the net, it is good to tie things up, so everyone can know what we were getting at--in person, it is so easy to see and know...

yep--it just reminded me of a sad situation that i am now seeing in a family, and have seen FAR too often...

so i took it as a good point to share an extra
side note:

hope i did not confuse things here...
*hence--why i added it as a commercial, :)

i love how folks share, whether in general, or in funds, or in simply a hug:

it's just that nowadays, parents are too busy to understand these
real shares, while--many in the world, without kids, SEEM to understand...

i think it is due to many hardships that we see along our trails...
being 'out of the box' and into world, we SEE more than our self...

He could have donated that money before the bet...

Hopefully that isn't the case...

Then how is it that the amounts and recipients match what Jaybro first requested on November 8? He even threw in another $100.

I am sure it took a thousand years for the first homo sapiens to learn how best to communicate face to face.

Do you suppose it will also take us a thousand years to figure out how to use the internet?

They DON'T match...

Even your post above proves that...

Bet = $5000.00

Amount posted = $5100.00

Locker they are for the same recipients and for the same amounts, only with the contribution rounded up to the nearest hundred.

If he'd made only the minimum contribution called for by his bet, he would have given $1,666.67 to each. Instead he gave $1,700 to each.

All that proves is that he is generous.

Thing about fatty is he seemed infected with internet Troll syndrome and had too much time on his hands.

Every time I heard of someone meeting him in person.. at face lift or whatever they had good things to say about him.

SO perhaps it's best for him and us if he stays off the net but I'd like to meet him sometime for sure.

Anycase damn solid to give in a way that has a real chance of changing/saving lives. Good causes there.

Considering that Greg Barnes and Chris Mac (ASCA) and Werner (YOSAR) view these pages frequently, a falsification of this information would be pretty stupid, and very quickly revealed.

Fortunately for me I have not needed the services of YOSAR, but I have benefited from ASCA (and also done replacement work using materials provided by them) so I'll say Thanks, Jeff!
