Andy Man is Not me.

Maybe, maybe not. But considering you've done it before--recently--your credibility on this is less than zilch.

So next time you bark about liars, hypocrites, etc., kindly STFU, because you are their king--er, Chief.

Another thing Ed is actually pretty open minded although you may not actually catch that in his posts here.

But he expresses that at various times in a subtle way.

In addition, the current administration, and many others involved with nuclear security policy, have begun to lay the groundwork for a reduction to zero nuclear weapons. This will take some time to achieve, but the activities of the US labs involved in the nuclear security mission will be involved in this ongoing process.

Zero nuclear weapons???

Do the" US labs" have a method for insuring that , for instance, North Korea will forfeit their little arsenal along with every other poop-shoot nation with a sociopathic dictator and notorious grudge?

The idea that the current nuclear superpowers would willingly reduce their nuclear arsenal in light of the real world we live in ,is the most juvenile and laughingly ridiculous of current notions.

If nuclear superpowers were to reduce their nuclear arsenals to zero --all that any idiot, draconian Orwellian dictatorship would have to do is possess a mere handful of devices and they would become the preeminent superpower .

What kind of utterly stupid and ridiculously monumental waste of time would be "efforts" by this administration to nudge the real world, in the 4 yrs. Obama has left , to get along to zero nuclear weapons , presumably unilateral??

Geez Louise. For crying out loud.????

If the IPCC goes full bore ahead with the summary report they have circulated they may well lose another 3-4 nations. That would be a good thing since they will in effect self marginalize themselves. Perhaps then, the true belivers amongst them can be institutionalized in a central loony bin where they can celebrate their then 100% consensus far from the public eye and their mental condition soothed from never again being allowed outside to hear the cries of deny.

Tooth- your spot on with your divide and conquer. Do you think all the civil strife is intentional and directed?

Ward Trotter is also spot on with his analysis of the stupid utopianism behind such slogans as reduction of our nuclear forces to zero. There is no surer road to annihlation than this- not in the real world anyway.

Werner- you have to take old Bruce and his psycho babble b.s. attacks with a hefty grain of salt. Hell, occaisionally he is even funny.

You forgot Trotter Ed. And what are your diplomatic credentials? Hell, i have to live amongst the Russians and compete in the building biz when they don't have to make a profit, just launder.

Come on all you scammers and alarmists out there. It can't be so hard can it, for true believers ? We all know it's been warming since the Little Ice Age. Where is the EVIDENCE that any of it is caused by man ?

Admit it chaps. There is NOTHING to support the scam.

I didn't see anyone with the guts to claim which one of these graphs below shows man caused warming either. What happened to boldness ? Are you all a bunch of pussies ?

I'll answer that one for Andy, if you don't mind. It was a bristlecone pine from high in the little Ural's section of the High Sierra.

Hey Ed, i have some questions for you. When was the last time the Earth has seen this amount of Polar sea ice for this time of year? When was the last time that U.S. cold temp records outnumbered hot records by two to one? When was the last time sea surface levels showed a decline year over year? When was the last time a solar cycle was as weak as the current one? When will their be a consensus that we are in a global cooling trend ?

Seems you do not want to openly admit your participation in that field of the caretaking of the US's stockpile of WMD's.

chief, what possible relevance is that to a discussion about climate change?

I used to work at the Los Alamos lab, does that disqualify me from climate change talk?

Andy not, but good to keep everything in perspective while being humorous and freindly, yes. It may well all be in the atmospheric volume and boundaries, my freind, as some obscure scientists have made indirect reference to. We are truly within the parameters of the goldilocks zone and age, Gaia could do no better even if it in fact existed.

LOL, I'm not going to knock him.

BUT: you found one of few mainstream scientists who support your view point and you run with it.

You bash scientists frequently: yet this one is, for some reason, A-OK.
Hmmmm....

And you ignore the rest because what they say offends you personally.

You are a cherry picker.
