Wheres Al Sharpton, his Civil Rights brigade and all them "Liberals" for this atrocity?

Are you implying Al Sharpton would protect any piece of sh#t murder as long as he/she is black? I don't get your point. Don't see how any sane person would protect these guys..

Mr. Sharpton's activism has little relevance to this tragedy...

Before pointing fingers at racial politics, the influence of rap culture etc...we need to ponder the social milieu in which both taboo and proscribed justice of a distinct nature are so lacking for the deliberate killing of an innocent...

Uhm what's to outcry about? They are in jail.

It's all over the news. Cause it's horrific and nobody says it isn't. I don't see a murder as worthy of international news generally.

Now if they had gotten let off .. Or if someone was defending their actions

just a big HUH? regarding the title of this thread.

WHAT IS THERE TO PROTEST?

Lets have a protest against the jailing of murderous psychopaths?

Protest against MURDER? Cause society is too suportive of murdereres?

Protest against murderous psychopaths for same reason.

WTH are you thinking cheif?

All I see as far as anything to organize a group of people about in this incident would be.

Organize a memorial to the deceased.

Organize an appreciation event for the justice system.

Other than the actions of the murderers.. who else did anything wrong for which we should protest?

There are many decent people appalled by this. It certainly puts us in a negative light in front of the world. So many of the bright and talented young people in the world are sent to the US for an education or for other experiences, and it is sad to see that turn to tragedy. We certainly feel a similar loss when one of our young epople travel abroad and are killed.

Life isn't fair, and we can't guarentee a perfectly safe environment. That is incompatablie with a free society.

I don't think it is fair to crticize all Americans for such a tragedy. That type of animosity leads to more violence.

The only constructive gesture I can offer is a very sincere expression of grief to this young man's family and an efficient trial for the perpetrators. Let's demonstrate the humane way to behave.

I won't listen to the excuses offered by others for this barberic behavior. There is something to be learned by understanding the contributing factors to their actions. We may not be able to or want to remove those factors. We can make those choices in time. Contributing factors does not absolve them of guilt or predestine them to do this.

Of course having a black man in the whitehouse made racial tensions worse.

Its freaking the white supremacists and their sympathizers completely out of their minds.. everything they have been "warning" about is happening in front of their eyes.

And I love it. Let the racists freak out and expose themselves.

The shooters were not claiming self defense.

The shooters were not attacked by the deceased.

The deceased was not on top of the shooters beating the shet of em.

You are aware that the suspects ARE in Jail arn't you?

Are you upset about that?

Has the system been to kind to the suspects? Is that the problem?

Is this incident not getting enough news attention?

what are you upset about?

What is Sharpton supposed to say?

Congratulations to the police department for catching the perps?

I'll call him up right now and suggest he do so in a public manner cause its such an important message for the whole world to hear.

Thanks police fopr doing your job.. and thanks racists for watching me thank them so I can show I'm not a hypocrit.

WHAT IS THERE TO PROTEST?

The same issue that occurred in the Trayvon Martin incident. But in the reverse.

Perfect example of the hypocrisy that exists.

Had this been a White on Black incident, Al Sharpton and his croanies would be all over it.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAA

Did you just realize all this? I thought reverse racism was accepted long ago...

I hope you aren't really a chief of anything, because you seem like a complete moron. To not see the difference between Trayvon and this...wow.

If sharpton was protesting the incarceration of the suspects you might have something to be upset about The Cheif. NO ONE is defending these guys except maybe a court appointed lawyer.

But WTH are you upset about?

SO nobody has anything to protest!

Even our own prezidunt CANT handle a JOKE that was levied in the exact same manner as was done to GWB, a rodeo clown with his mask on. That was funny, but when it happens to OBAMA its RACIST!!!!!!!!!!

Ron, I don't know you other than a fellow climber on ST. My response is not an attack on you personally, but I feel the need to refer to your comment. Bush and Obama were most definitely not joked about in the same manner. There is a difference between making an effigy, a caricature, etc., of a person based on their relative competency/incompetency, political perspectives, etc., and making fun of someone along the lines of their ethnicity. For those who objected on-site to the rodeo clown, the other clown, and the announcer, it was clear to them (and honestly, I think to anyone that even saw the clip with any objectivity) that the Obama caricature was not being taunted for his job performance (though I'm sure some people felt strongly about that in the stands), but was being specifically mocked for his ethnicity.

I really don't understand how anyone can't honestly admit that there is a tremendous amount of racism in this country, and that Obama is quite often the object of it--irrespective of his job performance. It seems to split pretty starkly along party lines (although even many Republicans voiced their objection to the rodeo clown incident), that it begs the questions: Are Democrats just prone and antsy to find racism where it isn't (maybe some are. That's a possibility)? Are Republicans just deeply entrenched in the commitment to not admit that racism is real, that it happens, and that it happened in this case, too? If there is objection to the job that Obama is doing...great. Make an effigy to that effect. That's a joke that any president should reasonably expect. But this incident wasn't that, and I personally believe any reasonable person could see that.
