Thanks Crimpie!

Buggs, that's a great shot of the Mat man.
We are all glad he takes it easy on you.
We need you for climbing worse than they need you for hockey.

Mat has a sense of humor about as priceless as his old man!

Years ago I read in the paper, I think it was a quote from an NFL quarterback (!?), that kids are the only miracle allowed us. I’ve thought of that so often over the last many years with respect to my boys, now 23 and 26.
survival, you have a lovely little miracle there.

hey there survival, thanks for the share... learning to give, frees the heart... but learning to understand why and how to give, is an art... wonderful art-work, from one so young...

hey there zander! thanks for the share about your two boys!...

say, my boys and one girl are rearing up kids now, too... but i dont see them--too far away--sure hope they will be gold, too...

:)

I love the name Amber. Good for Buggs! Here is my Amber from a few years ago. She is a firecracker!

We were on one of our family trips years ago. Our oldest was seven, Amber was five and Julia was fit to burst with the soon to be. We went hiking in Zion NP. Our two very independent kids went charging off ahead while we waddled slowly after. We witnessed with a mixture of shock, bemusement and embarrassment as the teaming crowds of hiking tourons would part like the Red Sea and get out of the way of the chattering little fire plug of determination marching their way. These same folks didn't give an inch later as they converged on a very pregnant women. We were the ones obligated to get off they trail for them.
However most of them smiled and asked, "You Amber's?". We figured she had engaged in whirl wind conversation and made a big impression with lots of strangers. She is a pip.

Thanks!
You know klk now that she is a beautiful teenager bringing goober boys over I have found it more appropriate to be sharpening my ice tools. I give them a fancy gun slinger flourish before I shake their hand. They seem so polite after that. hehe

My wife and I have been blessed, as well, with kids that beam in the outdoors, and are game for new adventures--nothing better for them.

Mojede that is an adorable picture. You are a fortunate man.

Here is the nightmare of any father of a teenage girl.
Fortunately for me that is not my grandchild.
Only because I am not ready yet!
That cutie pie is a friends little joy.
