Wow, Bruce, that sweet girl is growing up. I still have a promise
to keep her, to send her some poetry. I dropped the ball on that
one, terribly. Please give her my love. I think she would remember
me. I have a great photo of the two of us sitting together...

TJI, yes I'm a daggum Californian now!

WTF? We gotta go climbin', bro!

And you got yourself a winner in that daughter of yours....

Good to see all the proud dads here of their little girls.

Hey! Naitch and daughter are G-String users! Right on... reminds me I need to go out to the garage (where I keep the Scotch and G-Strings).

Enjoying all the posts. Proud mamas and papas all about.

My girl is A1 in multiple ways. Now she climbs and supports Kickstarter campaigns!

P.S. This is from the time I taught her the fine and delicate art of bailing on a JT 5.4. Took me years to perfect that.

Ruby doesn't climb too much yet as her dad and brother are a little crazy about it, but if and when she does watch out as she is so strong, smart, tough, and flexible she will tear it up.in her younger years.growing up with three brothers and no sisters has made having a daughter have a steep learning curve, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

There is a fair bit of whining and crying though, but still wouldn't trade it for anything.

Amber bump!

13 points today, to finish off summer league.

She has been saving for a car, little by little, since she was about 10 years old.....

She finally decided to spend her hard earned money!

Thanks Dean.

Amber is such a quiet and humble girl, and she has done everything from petsitting to babysitting to housework to garden work and more for years, carefully putting away a few dollars every time. She has really earned this and I'm very happy for her.

Awesomeness Update!!

Straight A's and kindness to others continues unabated.

The Placer High girls varsity team won the undisputed Pioneer Valley League Championship with an overall record of 20-6 and a perfect league record of 10-0!!

They beat 2nd place Colfax twice during the season, leaving them with a league record of 8-2. Colfax had a great season too, but we owned them in the second game 50-36.

Here are the champs after the 2nd Colfax game to end the regular season. Amber is number 5 standing far left. She ended up fourth in scoring, hit a dagger 3 pointer in that game and played tougher defense as the season wore on.

With a proud mama.

Now it's on to the San Joaquin Sectional Playoffs!! First round game Tuesday, at home, against East Union, from Manteca.

Thanks Dean, I can always count on you to be in the GDAC. (Great Daughter Admiration Club)

And TAD!!! Dude, I have a picture just like that! I just keep forgetting to post it like an idjut.
You don't know how great it was for us that you came to see her play. Even though you had to see us play 2014 Div III State Champ Enterprise. Obviously that was one of our six losses. Still a great picture of you two!
