Perhaps chess isn't the best comparison when you are trying to relay that a sport is exciting to watch. ;-)
I'm just giving you lawn fairies some grief because on the football threads someone always has to talk about how soccer is better.

Funny Video! I hate that part of the game for sure. I wish the officials were more harsh of divers. I think FIFFA should be able to review games and penalize players for this sh#t.

Atletico over Milan
Man City over Barca
Chelsea over Galatasaray
Dortmund over Zenit
Munich over Arsenal
PSG over Bayer
Real Madrid over Schalke
Olympiacos over Man U.
City V Barca and Olypiacos V Man U are the only two I'm not real sure on.

Looking awful tight at the top of the PL.
Frustrated with Arsenal. They should have been able to beat MU at the Emirates. While I like Giroud, they really need an alternative. Can't understand why they didn't at least give Podolski the last 20 mins.

They never should have sold Van Persie. Or Adebayor.
But I do enjoy seeing Van Persie languishing in the train wreck that is Manure under Moyes. I'm sure that choice was down to Fergie, fellow Scot, decent record and all. But if I'm the United board, I'd rather have Klopp than Moyes, really lots of people before Moyes..De Boer, Van Gaal, Pep, Ancelotti, maybe even the Spanish waiter Beneitez.

Out of the four Champion's League Games this week Atletico and Milan was the most competitive.
City looked good until their red card, same can be said about the Gunners.
PSG was already dominating before they got the one man advantage.
Crazy that all four Away teams shutout the Home side. Besides PSG, the other three second legs should be good.

The EPL teams couldn't get a win and only one goal outta the four games. I read an interview with Munich striker Thomas Mueller and he was saying that he thinks by the time the EPL teams start the knockouts, they are overworked. Arsenal had eight games during the same time that Bayern had their three week winter break. Also, the EPL is so much more competitive than the other leagues, so each game is that much harder. I think he has some good points. When Man City and Arsenal both went to ten men, the games were pretty much over. Now each face a big task in the second leg.
PSG, Dortmund, and Real are going through for sure.
Bayern, Barca, and Olypiacos are most likely going too.
Chelsea and Gala should be good and same with Inter and Atletico. Could go either way, go Galatasaray!
