So far, the coverage I've seen has been excellent.

Very little human interest pablum. No marathon coverage of curling.

Instead, I got to see 17 year old Red Gerard deliver the goods. Slopestyle snowboard competition blows me away. What they can do now is mind-boggling.

Saw Chris Mazdzer finish second in the luge. Booyah!

US women's hockey beat Finland. Congrats ladies!

Even the figure skating and cross-country skiing is good. All things in moderation.

Hope the solid coverage continues.

Johnny Weir.
Bedazzled head phones.

Oh my the Olympics have come a long way.

Oh well, the athleticism of all the events cannot be denied. That’s for sure.

Hello, my name is Rick and I cannot stop watching Curling.

Tonight I learned that not only did the Scots spawn the perversity of Golf; but are also credited with the creation of the devious sport of Curling.

Explains the whole whiskey thing I think.

What are you watching? Not NBC.

I've been watching for over a half-hour, and I've seen exactly one snowboard run (the American, of course, as if she was the only competitor) and that's it.

Supposed to be "Figure Skating, Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Snowboarding, Luge" tonight, but I haven't seen any of that. Just a bunch of talk.

How about Simen Kreuger getting tangled up with two Rooskies, breaks a pole and decks!
He’s dead last at the 6K mark and then destroys the 67 man field to win the 30K Skiathlon.
Epic!

This winter Olympics is a 100% blackout, and non-existent as far as I can tell. I don't subscribe to cable and NBC doesn't broadcast via antenna like all the other networks. Besides, the USA is probably one of the worst in Olympics broadcasting, having seen what is offered by Canada to her citizens, for instance.

Keep the updates coming.

Chaz.. the women's giant slalom was postponed to another day because of high winds. That was supposed to be on NBC's main channel. The winds also delayed the women's snowboard event which is on their secondary channel right now. I'm not sure why they didn't just put it on their main channel. But the weather has been causing problems, which might explain the extra filler.

As far as US Network TV goes, NBC network is using two channels. The NBC channel is showing all the most popular stuff like figure skating and alpine skiing while NBCSN(you need some sort of cable/satellite subscription to get this channel) is showing the less popular stuff(XC skiing, biathlon(!), etc.).

Of course, if an American wins a medal in any sport the highlight finds its way to NBC channel.

Red and Jamie had me cheering with joy, but Mirai Nagasu had me schwitsing. How marvelous to come back from being passed over 4 years ago to nailing the triple.

And you could just see it in her face.

More to come from her.

Kreuger had a performance for the ages. To be SO dominating, to go from dead last, passing every other competitor in the field, and then to leave them so far behind.....just awesome.

What a competition for second.

Martin Fourcade's comments after the biathlon pursuit were excellent. He's a pretty enlightened dude and has a good coach!
