Walked past about thirty black SUVs and a handful of Boy Scouts looking like they were straight out of an Eddie baur catalog armed with earpieces after getting off the NDG.
Took all of me not to crack jokes. My partner was thankful.
Please never bring that infrastructure to our parks again. The impact is shitty and so is the circus surrounding it. Just kidding. But seriously. Don't do that sh#t.
Also if you spent hours in Yosemite waiting to catch a glimpse of another human being, one no more important than any of us, you are not #local.

I think the traffic was light because of all the news stations said its best to stay away because traffic and logistics were going to be a nightmare. Can't imagine being in the secret service and having to secure a place like the valley, totally understandable to close parts down. I mean, we close huge areas for a bird that's not even threatened anymore.
It looked like everyone went to Sequoia, there was a line at the entrance and it was nuts up there this weekend!
Not an Obama supporter but I like any time a president visits and supports public lands, we have at least that in common. Bonus points for the first family doing some climbing!

Instead little American sheep take unconstitutional orders with alacrity, pride and total obedience. They should be ashamed of themselves, instead, and the rest of the world should be afraid. Very afraid. Indeed, who is this Obama? An employee of We The People! Wake up, People, instead of just goose stepping proudly in the sunset of the dignity of the human spirit. The meaning and appeal of real climbing is freedom. Taking orders, the exact opposite.
