The tired left/right partition is inadequate. There is support to cut the pie cross-wise, as populist vs. the few. Laugh at poor people all you want, they are right to follow their own self-defined interest, whether it be Sanders or, as insane as it first appears, Trump. Obviously elites will do everything they can to stop it. Many republican billionaires will switch to Hillary before Donald, they know she will defend their interests. The irony is unmissable.

Many republican billionaires will switch to Hillary before Donald,

Oh yeah, Republican billionaires love campaign finance reform, expanding Obamacare, stronger environmental and gun control laws, funding Planned Parenthood, reducing college tuition, gay marriage equality, paid family leave, increasing the minimum wage...these are really their hot button issues.

The primary billionaire issues are pliability of the workforce and wall street reform. They're happy for distraction from secondary issues, and don't even all agree on them anyway.

From your list above only campaign finance reform is on their main radar, and they're happy with Hillary.

I continue to find it ironic that otherwise seemingly intelligent people, like those found on this site, still think there is even a modicum of difference between Republicans and Democrats.

I've said it on another thread, but it is worth repeating. Sure, there are some things where there isn't much difference. I don't have any particular reason to think the Middle East would be better under a D or an establishment R. But some things would be a lot different. I don't see Ginsburg lasting another 4 years. The Supreme Court could be a lot different based on whether a D or R replaces her. There have been a lot of big 5/4 decisions that have really affected American lives.

Another example, A D would do far more with regard to climate change.

The Endorsement Primary.

http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-endorsement-primary/

"In presidential primaries, endorsements have been among the best predictors of which candidates will succeed and which will fail. So we’re keeping track."

Two months ago, Bush the only Republican in double digits. Certainly a shift.

Werner - you are endorsing the Putinator? In that image he is riding western with both hands on the reins, fergodzsakes! Real men ride western with one hand gently handling the reins.

No, actually, the western rider knows well his horse has a brain and understand the subtle cues being given. Wrenching in the bit, as the Putinator is doing in the various images of him on that ride, of a horse used to western riding, is only confusing. Putinator uses force where a soft, guiding hand would have better results!

If only Christie or Kasich can hang in there and gain some ground... I might vote Republican this time.

One reason why Rubio's candidacy hasn't taken off might be that he isn't well liked by party big shots, being seen as an opportunistic, ladder climbing backstabber.

The fact that another Shrub is even in the running is amusing.

The elections have really just devolved into a very elaborate Jerry Springer episode.

I suspect Chelsea's latest spawn might be Trump's. Where's that paternity testing guy?

Unfortunately the only people who should be head puppet either can't afford to run, don't want to run, or will run and be promptly discredited and or discounted by the MSM (or assasinated if that fails).

Bread and Circus for everyone! Don't forget to VOTE! lol
