Frog
He printed the frog on his 3-D printer. When he finished, amazed, he watched as the frog hopped away. He followed it into the yard but lost track of it in the weeds. He went back to the house but the door was locked and no one would answer. Looking into the window he saw his identical self eating dinner with his wife, for the machine had printed his replacement.

The La Grange Road between 132 and 59 is still closed because of a damaged bridge on Dry Creek, which suddenly became Wet-as-hell Creek on the 23rd. Other roads here (in Merced County) are still closed because of washout damage.
Two people were apparently swept away in flooded creeks--an elderly man and an elderly woman in two separated incidents in Mariposa County. Their cars were found but neither of them has turned up and authorities feel they were drowned. Searches were suspended yesterday.

Awful news that I'd not been aware of. The Secretary for Veterans' Affairs has been sacked recently and has been replaced by Turn-em-out Trump with his own personal doctor, whose name is Ronnie Jackson.

This month alone, the president has replaced Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and National Security Adviser HR McMaster, while his top economic adviser Gary Cohn also left. Meanwhile, White House communications director Hope Hicks' last day was on Wednesday.
The group Disabled American Veterans said it was "extremely concerned about the existing leadership vacuum" at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
"At a time of critical negotiations over the future of @VeteransHealth care reform, @DeptVetAffairs today has no Secretary, no UnderSecretary of Health or Benefits and the named Acting Secretary has no background in health care and no apparent experience working in or with the VA," the group wrote on Twitter.
We are "blessed" in this country with a leader who cannot stand to be contradicted or opposed in virtually any thing he does. His second-guessing of his own appointments shows weakness and an inability to trust his own judgement or that of those who surround him.
In the UK they would have dumped his ass long since with a vote of NO CONFIDENCE, which amounts to impeachment.
So WTF are our congressional "leaders" doing? Nothing that I can see.
We are truly f*#king blessed.

This news is just not palatable this time of morning...it's sickening, in fact.
Social media has a lot to do with this misguided turd-worship. And the networks just report it and collect their money from the sponsors.
I'm willing to bet that Cruz never gets the death sentence on this rap. If they couldn't kill Charles Manson, this little punk should have no problem avoiding the chair/noose/chamber. But if he IS condemned, it will have taken so long and so much court time that I'll likely have passed away by then!
It's not that I approve of death penalties in all capital cases. I don't disapprove of them, either, like a lot of you seem to do. But when one live in a state with the death penalty, one must face that music if you're a killer.
