Well I completed quite a lot more than the few new routes I wanted to do. The more adept failed to show up much for the harder lines, so I guess I'll have to get in better shape for my 61st go around on the third stone from the sun.

Angel falls, where I expect to get at least 1 mosquito bite and/or leech/tick for each of my 55 years :-)
Is that what was meant by a tick list?

To quit my day job. After 8 years on lead at this thing it's time to top out.

Ticked off the 2015 list 100 percent: one climb, the first ascent of the Funnybone in Idaho. Not worth doing, you bet! Bleaah! For 2016, the tick list has two items of wholly different character: the Lost Arrow Spire tip and that buttress on Cathedral Peak in Tuolumne! Is it the Southeast Buttress? Yeah, that one. Who wouldn't want to climb the LA tip? Then I can fold up my bony old ass and die, you bet!

Just one: keep getting outside, anywhere, even after this guy becomes priority numero uno in a month or so:
