The short list for the valley:
-Solo harder el cap route (central scrutinizer, Tempest, Kaos?)
-NIAD
-RNWF, finally
-some FAs on a wall I've been scoping
Too many climbs in high country to list. Big wall spring season will arrive before alpine season after all I suppose.
I hope that making my plans public will make me even more motivated to make it happen. Haha.

But once I did put edge of time arete on a short list... bad juju. Had to hike, hate hiking more than hate itself, 96 miles to get her done. Just say no to lists...
Ha! You know you didn't have to start your hike in Fresno, right?

Complete a few more routes on one of my unknown Nevada climbing crags then turn it over to others more adept for some quality climbs. If I get this task done, then continue working the other unknown crags.

We'll spread out the bag in the trees to cushion your fall.
No worries Werner, we'll catch you. :)

I like Gordo's list, keep it real.
I need to think about my own.
I need 15 more life birds in the OC. Climbing...and hiking....more thought.
Locker, good luck on Linda's C.

Mt Assiniboine has been on my list for a while, now that I am back in Montana it is only a few hours north. At 5.6 or 5.7 it looks moderate and beautiful.

5. onsight whippers (no takes)
I need to do that more often too, on red points. And sport climbs. At times I hate myself for taking with a clean fall etc. But than I feel like I will fall for sure, so why bother? But than why not just try in any case? Head games..

Here's my resolution list for 2016 that focuses on the realistic and which improves on 2015:
1. No eye surgery;
2. No surgery of any kind;
3. No root canals;
4. No new physical health problem;
5. Climb in a new area;
6. Visit a new country (or 3).
Given above, it is easy to assume I didn't do well on any tick list that I had for 2015.

Mine was...
Attend the supertopo indian creek thing (would be fun to climb with Burchey, Jim, Weston, moosedrool, Mike and other STers!)
Meet STers I have not met, make friends, continue climbing with my current partners.
Explore new places, hopefully climb new routes, push my climbing abilities, learn new things.
Free the new route I climbed on Bubbs Creek Wall.
#1 - NOT GET INJURED!
Attended THREE (Indian Creek, Danland and Shuteye) Supertopo gatherings. Went to Argentina and met a lot of cool new people.
Was not as big of a dick on the internet as I used to be? :)
Did not get injured severely enough that I was limited for an extended period. But did get hurt a few times. Mostly due to lack of rest.
Did free the route (Emperor) on Bubbs Creek wall!
Sent my first 5.12s on gear (Monkeypaws at Donner and Inflictor, Broken Tooth - Indian Creek)
Sent my first WI6 climb (The Nemesis)
First V5 in the GYM!
18 total FA/FFAs (III-V, 5.9-12a) (mostly First Ascents that were climbed free and grade IVs). Happiest about the Bubbs Creek Wall, Hamilton Dome, Castle Rock Spire, The Serpent's Tooth, Angel Wings, Cherubim Dome and summiting an unclimbed tower (arguably up to three unclimbed formations) by a new 1000 ft route! Naming three prominent formations was also really cool.
One of the coolest trips of the year was one to Tehipete with Daniel. Even though we didn't 'send,' I believe we gave it our best attempt and hopefully we will be back if the planets align.
Doing Nose in a day, Silver Strand, Salathe Wall, Stoner's Highway, Beggar's Buttress and a bunch of other established routes was great too. For next year, the goal is to meet more cool people, not get injured, attend more gatherings, improve as a climber, attempt more new routes, encourage others to get out to remote places/do climbs they always wished to get done and to not be afraid of failing! :)
