Humans raised solely on grain from birth could be a whole new culinary experience. Raise a deer on junk food and see what it tastes like.

As humans we are well aware of that fact...
That has to be one of the most delusional comments I have heard in years. Surprising since I know how intelligent you are.
And to the person who apparently missed my comment about food, I understand exactly where food comes from. Hunting season is not necessary. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere.
Don't even get me started on the "importance" of culling and controlling populations, we created that problem. If anything needs to be culled it's humans.
People running around dressed in camouflage shooting themselves and each other is the perfect irony.
That's what I call a natural balance.

I shot this buck 4 times over the last two years. Don't know what he tastes like.
I'm glad he is protected.

"I will never understand the reason hunting is so much fun."
I don't understand people who bag on hunters for shooting cute little deer, but then are perfectly happy to eat meat from inhumane factory farms.

I don't understand why people don't see a difference between hunting bambis and being a meat eater.

Deer taste better than humans.
I don't think I want to know how you made that distinction.

Hmmmm...... And people are telling me I need help....

You don't think the human race is aware of the fact that without "Nature", we WOULD NOT be???...
That is exactly what I think. The vast majority of people on this planet not only don't understand this, they could care less.

Now that your mention it, it's an interesting way to deal with trespassers. "Hey, I was hunting!"

Well locker, I'm busy trying to survive too, but I am also very aware of my surroundings, as are you. Most aren't, and could not be bothered to do so.

Crawling up rocks isn't necessary either.
Life would be awfully boring if it were constrained to what is necessary.
Well I certainly can't and won't disagree with you there, but as a general rule climbing doesn't involve killing each other or animals for no real good reason.
Don't bother with the arguments about climbing accidents etc, I ran SAR for the NPS for 7 years. I know the drill.

No comparison to what I was referring to...
Well actually there is. You claimed that people are to busy to be aware of their surroundings etc. I merely pointed out that most of them could really care less.

I agree one hundred percent with your sentiment, Robert. That's why I support the right to arm bears. As to hunters who accidentally shoot themselves, or other hunters, that's the price of playing the game.

Hmmm. This site is loaded with semi-autistic people with very serious reading comprehension skills.
If you honestly think that I believe that meat, chicken, fish or anything else just magically appears, check your meds. You're either out, or you forgot to take them. It's probably a combination of both.
I simply find hunting stupid unless you need to because you live in a very isolated area. I also find it highly entertaining that people are running loose with guns trying to kill things that do not need to be killed, but end up shooting themselves or others.
It's pure irony. If you don't understand this, then don't play along. I'm sure there's a hopscotch game somewhere missing a participant.

Hahaha, sort of like when a rope soloist has an equipment malfunction or a climber takes their partner off belay and that person falls to their death.
Hahaha. Really funny. Love it.
Now go back under your rock, troll, and eat some acorns.

My my. The tender rectums are out in force this morning. This is no troll. Since you haven't been playing along, try actually reading the entire thread. I ran SAR for the NPS.
You are mixing apples and oranges. This was addressed earlier. I know it's difficult, but try and keep up.
