You're right, Kevin. I obviously think that my climbing time has been cut into too much (notice I don't say by whom!)

Real Climbers don't give a sh#t whether anyone else thinks they are a real climber or not.

It starts with a Little Bit of Lipstick, Dingus.
Rouge follows, and sooner or later the Lycra comes out.

Tucker is still using my old harness's to this day. He just cuts off the leg loops and uses them as a swami belt.

Classic shot John. Seeing you up high on rock isn't unusual, having a rope on is....even one just wrapped around your waist.

I wasn't that tough. Mine was 2" nylon. Still tough on the kidneys when you're hanging on it.

"We camped for the night on one of the most eastern affluents of Bridal Veil Creek, and were careful to fill our canteens before the bitter night-chill should freeze it over.
"By our camp was a pile of pine logs swept together by some former tempest; we lighted them, and were quickly saluted by a magnificent bonfire.
"The animals were tied within its ring of warmth, and our beds laid where the rain of sparks could not reach."

Kevin and Donini's list were spot-on. I would add:
Real climbers know how to do a dulfersitz, and have gotten into weird-ass and/or dire situations where they actually needed to use one.
Real climbers know, from experience, how to self-rescue.

bing bing bing!
Lycra's coming back folks, I see it all over the streets, and not a few crags.
And every single time, it's real...where is the lycra?! I KNOW it's out there!!!
:)
Cheers
