Boston must be a cowtown....there players look like they should be wearing bib overalls with straw hats and driving tractors to the game. Those beards look awfull...go Tigers!

How many ways can a baseball team blow a series......let the Detroit Tigers count the ways.

A little Blast from the past and a heaping helping of Fenway Magic, taken on Mothers Day, 2004; the year the Curse was broken. Go Sox!
That morning one of our corgis jumped up as my wife was bending over to feed him , and knocked the end off one of her front teeth. She refused a toothy smile all day, but you couldn't wipe the goofy grin off her face.

It will be interesting to see if the Sox can overcome the Cards' pitching.
I don't think so.

Community service announcement: the game is much more watchable if you find it on the radio and mute Buck/McDufus. That concludes today's announcement.

It appears the Sox have deciphered Wainwright, eh?
Edge, I agree that Schmuck and McSenile are the wort announcers I've ever suffered.

Leggs, my formative years, for better or worse, were spent listening to the Cubbies' Jack Brickhouse.
He was affectionately referred to as, well, I'll leave it yer imagination.

Finally muted the game after this one: "A rather good play by a rather good athlete..." Argh. One year I kept a list of these "gems"...wonder if I'll ever run across it again. lol
Donini, the beards may be "ugly", but Lester's control tonight sure is a beautiful thing.
