Well done Boston. And I bet they don't have a riot.
Why can't NL teams hit?

A great win against an incredible team, for a city that continues to heal.

Congrats to the RS.
I was rooting for the Cards, but while they were strong & consistent through the playoffs & the first half of the WS, they just couldn't stay where they needed to be. RS, while less consistent, were there when it mattered. They deserved this win.

This Series clearly demonstrated that this game is ALL ABOUT PITCHING! The Cards have an awesome lineup, and they all looked like Little Leaguers and were all nearly automatic Ground Ball Out hitters.

It is stunning how well the Sox adjusted to Wacha on the second go round. These guys are major league hitters, unreal. And PD, another gold glove. The three free agent amigos, Napoli, Victorino and Gomes brought chemistry, bats, fielding and base running. 5 pt players. Ross's work with Lester, location location. What a season for Beantown. Go Bruins!

Very happy to see the Sox win. Has any other team gone from last place to win the Series next season? My favorite part of the game (well, other than the end result) was Ellsbury getting out of the run down between 1st and 2nd, escaping 4 or was it 5 Cardinals in the process---don't see that too often.
Despite that, I will not be fighting the traffic to watch the parade. Sunny and 60s---I'll be at the crag!!!!

The Twins did it (90s?), but still impressive. Farrell should be a shoe-in for AL manager of the year. He changed the whole culture of the team and made them Believe. For that matter, Cherrington deserves GM of the year for assembling that band of bearded misfits.

I'll be at a crag (Gunks) frequented by many Yankee fans tomorrow. Good opportunity to rub it in.

Heard an interview with John Lester today - quite the well-spoken, thoughtful, and classy guy.

Absolutely!
And Reilly, the Sox are a class act, in my very biased opinion.
