Watching the start of game 3 now.. the gal who did the star spangled banner brought me to tears. I don't usually appreciate non tradition renderings of the national anthem..

but wow

looked her up. Colbie Caillat. Beatiful rendition.

I guess Steve Stone is less telegenic than even Buck or McCarver, or was previously engaged. Or maybe network execs are stoopid hillbilly shitheadz

Do I have to apologize for actually liking McCarver? At least he has some street cred. Joe Buck on the other hand, has nothing to offer.
I've got to agree with Jim on those beards. Those guys look like they should be cooking up some moonshine or meth out in the double-wide.

What I like about post season sports and championship games.

Everything is on the table. Playing to win. Starters that pitch relief.

History possible with every at bat.

As world series go I am really enjoying this one. Dont care about either team particularly. But both teams are excellent at the key aspects of the game and it is very evenly matched. Good baseball happens like this.

I like the beards. Scruffy Alaskan at heart I guess. Esprit de corp. Ridiculous gesture of teamwork and commitment. Plus the beard pulling is fun.

Now if they just had sweats and sorels I'd be completely at home.

Never been able to buy into the LA gotta impress some dipshits I never met look.

The whole PJs pistol thing works better in my mind :)

Yeah but without those errors we'd be seeing 14 inning games with 0-1 scores. It's been exceptional or error with not much in between so far.

HAH ..perfect ending to this game in this series.

It was over anyway.. barring a Mets like last inning miracle.

I do expect an extra inning game soon.

The Sox' pitching has been better than I thought it would be. And why are the Cards not walking Papi every at bat?

Reilly, I have an American League bias being a lifelong BoSox fan, but the AL pitchers are used to pitching to eight players plus a professional hitter (DH) vs an almost automatic out (pitcher). Lester is a beast right now, and has previous WS experience from 2007 after returning from cancer. Lackey is also at his stride right now and always pitches well at Fenway.

As poorly as the team has been hitting as a whole, they were the top scoring offense in the Majors and are finding ways to get the timely hit.

Should the Sox hang on to win, Papi is a shoe-in for MVP. The only other possibility would be if Lester returned for another lights out performance in Game 7.

The Cards do know that you have to swing the bat, don't they?

I don't believe in jinxing or coincidence, we create our own reality with positive thoughts and intentions.

You can thank me in 15 more outs. :^)

looks good for the Red Sox,

fans need a world series win at home so they do not have to worry about it for another 95 years,

can not find it on the radio so ESPN online is rolling right now,
