Well, I'll miss F's presence here, no matter why he flew the coop. Like several others here, many (most?) of his posts were just really good trolls, which hooked the RightWingNutz time & time again.
And I know many felt otherwise, but he really was a strong advocate of keeping OT yakking concentrated in specific threads- those two polititard threads did a good job (at times) of doing this.
If he got the axe, I sure hope it wasn't because of some idjut rat who reported him for something. That kind of sh#t is beyond lame, and rats like that deserve retribution.

I found it particularly odd that she deleted it as she has a pretty thick skin.
I didn't delete it because of me being hurt by it. It was done. No need to clutter up the forum further with my feelings. Isn't there a lot of complaints about the non-climbing threads? ;-)
There were some very good posts which helped me dealing with my issue. The funeral is tomorrow, and all will be well. Besides, the really nice thing which came out that thread is Jim Brennan.

Jim Brennan came out of that thread? No way. I'm sure he existed before that thread. In fact, I'm sure he has existed for at least several decades. Either that, or my memory has been altered by space aliens.

^^^Well, now I feel kinda shitty about linking his bouldering video in that thread.
Hater or not, you gotta have a few "devil's avocados" out there to break up the circle jerk. I didn't necessarily agree with him but you gotta ask those hard questions sometimes. Any journalist worth his or her salt knows this and is willing to accept the scrutiny for asking them.
