Seems that most NFL and NBA starts are tat-ed to the hilt so it must make you a better athlete. Seems like soccer stars must not be that great of athletes as they are rather tatoo free. But anyway I am thinking real hard that I need to head to the parlor so that I can climb a number grade or two harder.

I'm pretty sure Alex Honnold or Adam Ondra don't have tattoos.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sharma had a namaste tattoo on his ass-cheek.

Definetly!!! A very positive coorelation....the more tatoos a person has the less employable they are which means more time to climb....practice makes perfect!

I was told it's true but only if the Tat's are used in conjunction with a shaved head and a goatee.

Actually, look at the number of football/soccer players in Europe (and elsewhere) with tattoos, loads of them, and like the NFL, MBL, NBA and others, they make more money in a week that I will in a lifetime.
Hmmm, maybe if I got a tattoo....
... I could lead 5.13. Even free solo 5.14. Tattoie away.

Don't bother with the tats. Just climb shirtless and wear a beanie. And scream really loudly when you climb. That'll bump you up several grades, at least in your own mind.

Yes, for sure. Just like rice rockets are faster when they have a few hundred stickers on them. If Ondra, Sharma, or Honnold had a tattoo we would see the next level of climbing. 4 3000ft big walls in half a day solo, 5.17, v18 it is all possible, with the right tattoo.

Toos , when placed in the right anatomical position , make you looked more ripped and if you look ripped it might make you feel stronger...My favorite tatoo has to be the homer simpson one strategically placed on the ladies genatalia...

Hey Mike,
I thought they shut you down at work.
I'll be in the Valley in a week. Retired life has it's benefits--just look at Jim!
Tatoos?

Don't know if a tat would make one climb better, but it is a good indicator of the kind of twisted mind that is required to enjoy the suffering that comes from shoving a perfectly good hand into a grainy crack and then yarding on it.
