Very cool rig Mister E....

Very cool and I'm sure it will be exactly what you needed.

Hoping to see you out there somewhere someday with the rig in toe...

We couldn't make Yosemite, but got away to Bishop for a couple of days. Here's 3 pictures from the maiden voyage of the trailer:

Well we have made some improvements on Eggbert. We refinished the sides, trim and doors and painted everything white:

and in the last few days, I have been remodelling the "kitchen" area. The previous owner, hereto referred to as COB (that Cheap Old Bastard) installed a really flimsy set of "drawers" and sliding doors, here's a picture of the before:

Keeping the basic lay-out, Skip and I designed a more functional kitchen space. We had some nice laminate left over from the desk I built for our spare bedroom, so we decided to use it in this area. The work took about 25 hours of this week, milling, assembly, laminating, trimming, staining and a poly-urethane finish. I also replaced the flimsy hatch supports with some 1/2" solid oak legs.

From stowed mode to full deployment:

Thanks, Locker! Your little rig looks pretty sweet, looks like way less work, too...

;)

Munge, it wouldn't be the first time I have designed and built an interior for someone's rig...

what's yr hitch weight?

The trailer weighs about 550 pounds, maybe 600 now with the new kitchen.

Locker,

you have a portable man-cave trailer? Lucky!

I got lace window trimmings, here...and Woman's Day...

Meh.

The Eggbert is pretty cool.
Fairly fancy. I dunno about lace trimming, though.

Has Eggbert got stained glass windows? That would be a nice touch!

Thanks, Jason!

MH: No stained glass - the RV windows are a whole different sealing process than we are familiar with.

That front platform paint-job looks like the classic "whale-tail" to me. LOL!
