Wow, I'm old, but not that old, and evidently not old enough to learn new stuff.

Fridge? Are you kidding? This is Canada in December, eh? It's called a garage.

I think I'll have me another to help celebrate, too.

Damn, I can tell that everyone's gone climbing...

Well...it IS Friday night, and the beverage is hot ginger lemon tea (heavy on the ginger), but would love a hot toddy if I were able to drink. To offset this desire, it's already a toasty, smoky night...though I hope that's not the marshmallows I left on the fire...

As for an inflammatory comment...

A person can be a climber (for a good long time), not own a rope, and still be a 'climber.'

Not out climbing cause I woke up yesterday feeling icky, and woke up today feeling worse - Damn the season of microbes and weakened immune systems.

This is my first one. If it's not right or whatever, I'm blaming the cold and the moon, cause she's so beautiful tonight!

Cheers

First time in the weight room since breaking my back flying from the
highball boulder in Argentina in February. The dumbbells were smokin'!
OK, one dumbbell was smokin'. I was so wasted it was a struggle hoisting
my Piper Sonoma. Might have to crack an Affligem to watch the movie with.

Just picked up friend of mine who drank 150 proof Merlot at a party and....well couldn't drive home. So for me...nothing...yet! Thinking of cracking open a Samuel Adams Porter.

Holy frig, Mark - 150 proof Merlot? [geez, almost spelled that with a small "m"]

That is a chemical impossibility! And goes way beyond fortification with brandy to become port. How the heck did that come to be, any ideas?

I *did* give you some of Dick's 190 proof homemade Kentucky bourbon hooch to try this fall, didn't I?

It was homemade. And yes. That bourbon ignited my insides! But surprisingly smooth.

I make wine. Have to agree with Pete, that's not even possible. Maybe it was grape flavored rum or something like that. Only distillation can produce an alcohol percentage that high.

hey there all, just dropping by to be the tea-in-total-gal tonight...

do have some whiskey, but use it for my bad tooth, :))

and, i make it last long as i can, so i use my money wisely,
(wow, i sound like no fun for friday night, posts, huh?) :)

well: i always FEEL good the next day, then, :))

will have a nice drink or two, next week... or some merlot--cheap one, from walgreens, :))

say, the tea is very nice for this cold day though... had a snow-dust here, but is mostly gone now...

well, carry on, all... as the good mom-gramma-type, i will say:
no drinking and driving, though....

:)
god bless...
