With Frei Brothers 2016 Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon served in Reidel stemware, of course.

Bumping my favorite to top out at the end.
So many good times with this one.
I have not had so much as a beer since January 2018. And may not again this lifetime. I have been very good at drinking and think that I have probably learned all I can from it.

My mom passed away last week at age 99 and a half. A great mom and a life well lived.
After two beers on an empty stomach, we are celebrating at home with my You-Ess cousins.
We are going to have one kick ass CELEBRATION tomorrow - God has called mom home to sing again in the celestial choir, and back here in the natural realm, we are going to sing her favourite hymns:

The last days - we should live up to PTPP's OG requirements as it goes down:
1. (Your current consumption): 4 beers in, working on the 5th.
2. (Inflammatory comment): You all take yourselves WAY too seriously - LTFU
3. (Why you are drunk & on Supertopo): Celebrating finding a new spot to develop today - lots of talus scrambling to find the goods these days, so some general anesthetic is in order. Not drunk yet.

In true tradition of me on this post :
1) Two Historic Cause and Effect IPA's (Flagstaff has more per capita microbrewing than …...anybody???)……..2 Moral Panic Brut IPA's from SKA brewing..... burned a little something
2) The reason this site is shutting down is that like Charlie Sheen , CMAC has better things to do with 'his' time
3) As per original post of this thread , I don't currently have a life, although I work my ass off , I DO climb about once a week and will jump on the mtn bike for smiles tomorrow. Nothing like when I was a whipper snapper though

Thanks, all. I guess my Lifetime Dream of achieving 4000 Friday Night posts will never happen.... maybe someone can make it 3600? It is, after all, a Long Weekend for our You-Ess friends.
Much beer and merriment in memory of mom. The service yesterday was beautiful, with touching tributes by many. Our pastor friend gave the best homily I have ever heard. I played trombone and piano.
God bless mom. I'm off to Yosemite, at the airport now. See yous on the bridge for beers, eh?
