Good Friday evening everyone from beautiful downtown Wawa Ontario, home of what you Americans would call a Canadian goose.

We are having supper at the Viking restaurant. Hey Anita 514 can you post this Viking photo on Thor's Facebook page?

I'm feeling kinda horny...

We're drinking Superior beer which is a local Lake Superior favorite. Wawa is on the east shore of Lake Superior, the largest of the five Great Lakes. And it is freaking cold here mate!

We are going into a bush Bass Lake that has no Port Dodge, but there may be snow on the ground and we might be able to drag The fully-loaded canoe across the snow like a toboggan. We are, after all, Canadians, eh?

We are, somewhat light provisioned in the booze Department. Since we have to carry everything, or at least ski it along the snow, we have to watch our weight. Accordingly, we only have 1.5 liters of Chardonnay, one liter of South African red of unknown varietal, two liters of Julius Kessler whiskey, and two liters of tequila. And of course, one 2-4.

A free beer on the bridge to the first American who knows what a 2-4 is!

Hi. My Hoser buddy is listening to me dictate this on my phone, and he can't believe that Americans don't know what a 2-4 is!!! 111

1. Your current consumption

2. At least one inflammatory comment **

3. Why you are drunk and typing on McTopo instead of doing something worthwhile, like driving to the crag.

1) Home brewed Stout made by yours truly...

2) 2-4 is the flaccid and erect state of the standard, albeit pathetic, frost back shank in inches.

3) Sewing up wall gear for all those Yos wall rats and watching the Cubs go at the Redsox... 1 nuthin' Cubs on a Bryant home run in the first inning!!

I'm only two glasses into a bottle of Vitiano Rosso Italian red blend. Gud stuff.

Snow canoeing? Is that going to be the next big Olympic sport? Christ! Snow canoeing! Sounds damn-near as masochistic as big wall camping.

We've been gone seven daze to SE Utah for car camping & canyoneering. Got blown out of the new Bear's Ears National Monument by a wind & snow storm.

Things were going well until then.

Anita and I are drinking a honey badger red from South Africa. It's not half bad. We're watching the movie Decanted about Napa Valley winemaking. The winemaker Anthony Bell looks a lot like Fritz!

The winemaker Anthony Bell looks a lot like Fritz!
But which Fritz persona does he look like?

And then there was once a young, tanned, & muscular Fritz, that is kinda of hard to imagine these daze.

Trader Joes has some new mixers Jalapeño / lime , chasing some crap, "Ambassador"
Bourbon.
Watching as the republic fails? . .

The now two yr's on dog still acts like a cat - Velcro'd to alpha chick,
It is dangerous in our tight kitchen . She is skittish I'm gimpy a terrible mix!
I gimped , she, startled, & sprang into me.
I had the big kitchen knife in my right hand, some how I smashed into the counter, breaking my pinky!
That was a month ago.ive kept it taped to the ring finger.
But driving and lawn mowing stop any healing, climbing! Is Phooked.
, it is amazing you need that little digit for grip strength.

I was seriously thinking that I should get it loped off.
The wife has a Hand Specialist. A fancy girl doc, who,
when I asked,"amputate?" pushed me out of the office,
refusing to consult.
The wife tells me, after I left the exam room, the doc told her , she thought I was nuts. . . . Not news to anyone. .
Cheers

Ooops. Missed it.
I actually don't like Friday's because it means the weekend.
Being retired I tend to avoid weekends. And ESPECIALLY this weekend.

But I do recall having a beer.

It looks like Saturday is the new Friday. Or do I mean Friday is the new Saturday? I'm not sure... I just had a margarita in mileage on an empty stomach. Me and Sean Warren are making the Second Ascent of a drift up on El Cap comma and I am empowering wombats.

I miss you Susan and I miss you desperately I need a 5:14
