""Back when the Clintons were making sure that the citizens would run dry before the criminals (as in ten rounders)"
Are you aware that 90% of the guns used in the recent drug wars in Mexico were bought in the USA. Thats around 7000 deaths last year (before things really heated up.
"It is remarkable if not entirely surprising, given the swings of political climate, how dynamic the firearms industry has remained for well more than a century".
not really surprising at all, when so many in the USA buy into completely mental concept of equating gun ownership with freedom. "
Where to begin....... Ugh! Honestly, it's not even worth it.

Did you not like my response Nef?
But you're right, some people are a waste of time.
I'm in 9mm, .38, .357, 10mm, .40S&W, .41, .44, .45LC, .45acp
so I'm just not bothering with any of the new hot proprietary cartridges. They just don't have anything useful, and likely only appeal to dilettante shooters with more money than need.
How many people who buy these monster big bore revolvers ever see an angry bear or moose? Its Dirty Harry syndrome.
I don't need to genitally compensate as I've always been of the opinion that accuracy is better than caliber.
The appeal to me in the .32 1911 is twofold; a slimmer frame is easier for a small hand and penetration of light armor might have efficacy.
That it would hold a "pc" ten rounds is mere icing, but it might appeal to a marketing VP at Taurus or S&W.
