Quite the contrary, he is a silver-spooned child that could not get what he wanted as a child, and "rebels" against the very society that allowed him his "success".
Does anybody that listens to him actually think that he would spend a chosen minute of his personal face-to-face time with them talking about what THEY are interested in?

I was never "bookish", but I WAS fourteen and had to read "The Hobbit"--wherein I finished TLOTR trilogy next, mostly out of curiousity; then went to the outdoors and rode my bike to see the fascination that lay before my immediate eyes...
edit: Never really been into fiction, as I thought my own imagination was more than enough--and loathed the Literature classes for MAKING me read something that hundreds of others had to.
(Still got "A's" in them, though:-)

The other day you started the rush limbaugh thread, and now you have
migrated over to this political thread.
So it clearly seems you are back in full action here on SuperTopo.
What was the reason you decided to break you promise and start posting
here again without any prior "invitation" as was your condition?

Now sit down, Karl, so you don't crack your pretty little Karl head open. I officially grant your point......get it Karl. I am formally conceding the point to you. You have been agregiously wronged and I will not do it ever again. Mia culpa, mia culpa. I would go out back and kill myself but I just have too much work today. I have to get this house ready to be sold and dead bodies would probably detract from the sales price, anyway.
Ahem - For the record, I am formally granting your point and I promise that I will NOT Loisify yours or anyone else's threads ever again. OK? Now can you sleep better at night knowing that? Can we now kiss and makeup so that if I do find another forum to torment, I will not be ridden with guilt that I have ruined your online life forever. Think of it this way Karl. Think of your time me as a stint in purgatory. You have that much less to atone for when you die. Meanwhile, you have FINALLY made and WON your point.

Well Norton the simple answer is I am a female and like all women, I reserve the right to change my mind for no apparent reason. The short and sweet answer is that "I changed my mind."
Apogee is quite correct in that we should not be always talking about me - as we ever do!!!! We should be focusing on the issues.
The metaphysical answer is that somewhere one of you here "sinned" big time and "God" (aka "the universe") is punishing you for your egregious acts (whatever they were) by bringing me back. Maybe it was YOU, Norton, who did the "sinning." What have you been up to lately which caused the powers that be to send me back to torment you? I hope you have not "strayed" or fell off the wagon or anything like that. Someone must have f*#ked up.
