Sounds HOT mr.d. I'm more conservative and stick with light crop dustings.

Climates WILL CHANGE regardless of what we do. That is a blatant fact. What needs to be proven one way or the other is how much affect in comparison to natural cause, man actually has.

Holy sh#t. What an ignorant fukwad.

Do you really believe that climate scientists don't know this?

Hey ray,, from Ed H: " deem climate change un acceptable"....You tell me what that means..

I doubt Ed wrote that... I don't know what it means at least...

Is it the wish of GW types that CO2 remain a constant flat line along with temps? That has never been the case in known scientific history eh..In fact the glaring difference between historical past happenings and now IS the fact temps havent followed the CO2, perhaps that IS the effect of our added CO2...
You are so ignorant. You show over and over again that you understands nothing about the science. I am not even sure what you are getting about above but I believe that you just don't understands timescales and dynamical responses to a changes in inputs.

I am pretty sure that there have been 10 or 100 year periods in the history of the earth with constant CO2 and temps (with the natural short time variability of course) and that there have also been times when a fast change in one parameter has resulted in a slower response of other signals.

Nice gif, Mono. I like how the FAR & SAR start a full degree lower than the actual temperature.

Yep, there's some trickery involving the starting points, but it's in Roy Spencer's graph and not the one Mono posted. Folks who can't figure out why are folks who never took a stats course.

But it's pretty damn easy to come on ST and pound your sociologist chest and tell folks like Dr. Spencer they are wrong. All without them being here to make a complete fool out of you.

Hah, much smarter folks than me have told Dr Roy Spencer that his graphic is bogus. Doesn't matter, the fan base for his blog, unlike readers of peer-reviewed journals or scientists at meetings, seems to be largely innumerate, primed to believe and repost what he feeds them.

As gullible as he is angry, Chief does not notice that the Time "coming ice age" cover Dr Roy fed his readers, and Chief reposts above, is a well-known hoax.

Here's the hoax,

And here's the real Time cover:

Oh GAWD, I looked that up.....NOOOOOOO. EWWWWWW.

Yes, DMT, kinky, but a strange kink.....not sure it passes the "safe, sane, and consensual" test...well at least the sane...and might not pass the safe. Brussels Sprouts come to mind.

As this is how the cycle goes and has done so several times in the past.

Fact is, temperatures have never increased this fast for this long as part of a natural cycle without a very obvious, very powerful forcing... NEVER.

So what physical process is causing this phase of the cycle chuffer? I know you want to say it is ANYTHING but the huge amount of anthropogenic CO2. But even you know how fuking idiotic that sounds, right? I mean, you have been paying attention when each and every alternative explanation you or anyone else has come up with gets definitively shot down, right?
