Ed's the Real Deal.

When I finally met up with him in Josh last April, I discovered a guy who appeared to be exactly like how he posts: remarkably intelligent yet down-to-earth, passionate about climbing and photography, considerate of everyone and everything, filled with insight, humor, and a wonderful sense of whimsey. (He tells hella good stories.)

Just spending the day in his easy company was a gift.

That he banged his ankle on an off-width and AI green blood oozed out only made him that much more fascinating by my standards...;-)

wow! thanks everyone for the kind words.... I've been a bit down lately trying to overcome my back problem (today is the first day since July 30th that I didn't have any Ibuproen). Aside from the Vedauwoo trip I haven't been climbing...

and while I can climb, I just couldn't tie my shoes easily... to bendy for my back...

so I have been working with Deb on the bathroom remodel and trying to figure out how to make the recovery go a bit faster... mostly to no avail... but it is getting better

and your words of support help a great deal

at some point in my life it will become more and more difficult to actually climb, at any level... so I'm savoring the now as I will probably get it back together soon and start up again

hope to see you on the rock
and maybe at the Face Lift

I appreciate your friendship!

Aw, shucks, Ed, we still love ya! Heal up, bro. The Facelift would be weird without you there, dude. I hope to see you, my liitle boy wants to see what a real psycho-looking physicist looks like, he's seen posers before.

Cheers, Ed, be well!
