"Whoa, sounds epic to those of us who didn't make it."
Twenty years from now people will realize
Facelift is by far the most exciting thing happening in American climbing.

Right now I am feeling sentimental over the Yosemite dirt that's been tracked into my home. Plus Bill has tracked in his share of Australian dirt...
I will post pictures later and... Yes, my tent was "mind blowing big." The one posted from camp 4 isn't it.

With Royer Putnam's expert operation of the bobcat several tons of tarvia came out of the restoration project on Saturday and Sunday. The work of getting it out and restoring the area was furious both days. Not a minute was wasted.
It was manual labor, It was hard.
And it got done.
Get ready for a sandbagging.

Fattrad,
Total weight was 60,197(some figures still coming in) pounds. I just finished bringing home truckload number 8 of tools and supplies. I still have to add up number of participants, volunteer days and miles covered. Unfortunately, I have jury duty on a trial that may last three weeks and a museum exhibit to remove so it may be a little while. Thank you everybody for all your efforts. Everything went smoothly and I thought people put even more effort into than the past. One of the true joys was meeting new people from all over the world that happened onto the Facelift who came up to me to say how much they enjoyed it and that they would be back next year with their friends.
Ken
P.S. I will post pictures once things slow down.

Sh#t, Ken, you may want volunteers to help you haul the loads after the Lift.
I might be down with that in the future, if there aren't weird legal restrictions.
Thanks again, Ken, for your dedication and work!
