This was last Sept or Oct. We stopped climbing one day because of a looming storm.

Don't forget a spare. I was able to get my wife to change this flat with a nice Greenflash barleywine as extra incentive! We got 3 flats that day!

What's with the flats? Are the roads that dicey? Who carries three spares?

i suppose middle march road could give you a flat but once you are on the FS road on the west side it's a pretty tame road. it's roller coaster but not rocky. East side roads in are pretty short.

I didn't have 3 spares. I did have a plug kit and a pump that I used used 2x. I think I got it on a cattle x-ing on middlemarch road. Looked like it punctured a few tires. I ended up going to Sierravista and getting 4 new ones!

Bump for stoke on a possible spring trip. My first. Any info, rack beta etc people want to cough up? My buddy has been hounding me for years to go with him. Could happen this time!
