Right on Mastadon, good on ya. So nice of you to do the research and happy Gha is reunited with his ring. What timing. Can you say synchronicity!

Prior to the recovery of this ring, I advised Etowah County Officials to contact a fellow, who goes by the name of Mastadon in the Tahoe area, as he is an expert at recovering lost rings, especially those symbolic of a sacred union. At first they were hesitant, due to unusual "nickname"; but the bride to be was persistent in her demands that he be contacted.
Moments before the call to Tahoe was made, the ring was discovered.

Mr. Mastadon,
Don't "sweat" the cold water. Once I informed them of the criteria for calculating your fee, as well as your agents, they told me they would shut down the falls before contacting.
I'm doing fine, recouping from knee replacement surgery; which is slow and tedious. I hit 117º on the flexion gauge yesterday. Four more weeks and I can start pedaling my bike on the road; which is something to look forward to. I have a serious case of cabin fever.

I lost my wife's wedding ring far from any cliff. Last I saw it was on her plumpy little hands. Please don't send it back.
Nice job Don.
For 100 years people threw their wedding rings in the Truckee River in Reno. Some kids started prospecting and pulled like $600,000 worth of old rings.

I lost my wedding ring somewhere in Canyonlands after leaving it stashed in the sidepocket of a backpack over three days of climbing. Discovered it missing several days later and a few hundred miles away.
Fast forward a year and some climber from CO discovered it partially buried at the base of one of the towers. Amazing.....
