Does the fact that you haven't seen a penguin fly really prove that penguins can't fly? I bet that in the antarctic winter, when it's really really dark, and there are no people around to watch, the sky is just full of penguins.

Lobsters aren't red. Anybody know what less-famous novel by a very-famous novelist, that fact formed a turning point in the plot?

I don't think that the TSA prohibits boarding a plane while wearing a tux.

They probably do prohibit boarding a plane while eating a lobster, though....

I don't fly(maybe I'm a penguin), so I wouldn't know.

Bad spelling is the norm around here....I've learned to just zip it, mostly.
There's the occasional misstep which really bugs me, however.
Guess I will always be the 'spelling nazi'.

hey there, say, ed:

hmmm, i have found a bit of fun, here... :)

as to your quote:
"what do flying, sailing and swimming all have in common?"

simply put---they all end in "ing"

more complexly put (nice word, complexly)--they are:

1--all done for sport...
2--done by the rich and famouse...
3--done by the vacationers...
4--etc, etc... and on and on we go, if one so desires, :)

hey there sir loin of leisure... say, why i RECKON they could, if they wanted... that is... at the CIRCUS:

AS IN:

he flys through the air, with the greatest of ease...
that daring young penguin, on the flying trapeze...

hmmm... well, you see... one must just substitute, "man", for penquin, i reckon...

:)

its a question of dynamics, ain't it...

quite dynamic, seeing a penquin on the trapeze, i'd say...

:)
