Cool to see the topos.
So that bit of 5.12 at "The Cleaver" in the first topo, that likely was Paul Borne's section of reported 11d, ONSIGHT SOLO.

Am I the only from the 80's who remembers this?
In the mid 90's I worked on A Steven Segall (sp) film with Borne & he then confirmed pretty much what I'm sloppily dredging out of memory here.

C'mon Al Dude, post up.

Borne AKA "The Lizard Man" at the time, or some such.
'Solo's the thing dressed only in track shorts, or maybe even a "speedo" as triathletes wear, then plucked by YOSAR from the top of the Buttress due to rain & hypothermic onset.

Thats the story,Tar.I went up there with Piton Ron in the 70s.Did the hirrendous approach and realised I couldnt spend 2 days alone with Ron.Ron insisted we leave the gear as he would find someone else to do the route.Fat chance.I was his last hope .Some days later we soloed up separately to get our respective gear.He in the morning and I in the afternoon.
