Immigration. All this strife and despair is caused by nothing but immigration. If everyone would please just stay put in the goddamn country they were born in, the world would be such a great place. You've really got it all figured out man. This sentiment is especially ironic when I hear it coming from Americans (the white ones, not Native Americans who have a right to be pissed at immigrants).

You Extremist Wingnuts will screw it up. You always do.
Old white people went to the polls. That's all that happened.

This is where your rhetoric becomes indefensible. And you liberals will always lose this argument.

There were no laws when emigrants went somewhere with no laws, as opposed to immigrants breaking Federal immigration law of a sovereign country.

Ask Mexicans and Central Americans how they felt about the Spanish 'polluting' their traditional countries.

Really, ask them.

It's about about our current laws and abuses of our laws that is relevant, not some college dorm-room argument about 'rights'.

Wake the f*#k up! Where did you parents come from? Did they or their relatives have to go through medical, job equivalence tests? Or did they just let them walk right in without signing the 'guestbook'.?

What I find strange is that proven conservative policy of individuality and personal freedom actually scares some of you. You react with animosity to that?

That is weird to me. If you explain conservatism to somebody in clear, coherent terms (without bullshitting them), they almost always agree.

Unless they're a lazy bum or somebody without a sense of work-ethic. Somebody who'd feel okay with collecting welfare or food-stamps when they're perfectly capable of working their way up the ladder of life and better employment.

I just can't understand this behavior, maybe because they've been convinced that the gov't will always be there...to suckle on.

EDIT:
We're waiting with baited breath for your other shoe to drop, first nations Steve ! ! !

My grandparents came here with their parents in the pre-20's exodus from Italy. Pre WW1.

My grandparents and their parents went though the pacific immigration ports. Never got to know my grandfather but my grandma is still kicking at 98!

I'll ask her about it. She had 4 sisters! They're all dead. Gram is the last one standing.

Once again, I'll bite. More illogical conservative vs. liberal bullsh#t. Why would senators, congressmen or women, or presidents give a sh#t about those values? Is there any incentive for them to vote or govern according to those so-called principles?

If you believe in those political doctrines doesn't it follow that you've been duped? Is it logical to believe in stereotypes? Aren't there fiscal conservatives who are pro choice? How 'bout anti-abortion and pro-legalization of marijuana? Do you need more examples or are you understan
ding my point yet? Plenty of liberals who've never been on welfare. NRA members against war.

The media loves the false dichotomy and Americans eat it up. Spite thy neighbor is a bit of weak social solution ain't it?

Hey Judas - oops - blueringworm: So nice to see that you're still trying to rally people to inhabit your paranoid fantasy land by starting another thread. I guess your earlier attempts to start a witch hunt against a non-existent commie conspiracy died from exposure to the intellectual emptiness of its instigator.

Regarding your idiot "commie conspiracy" thread, I was always bleakly amused to note that you ran away and hid whenever you were asked to explain what the "anything American" these non-existent antagonists were supposedly against.

Thanks for always be a drooling ninny. In today's uncertain times, it's certainly a good thing to see that there's something we can rely upon.

By the way, who's going to pay for your strong military - voluntary donations from the pockets of neo-fascists like yourself?

Yo blueringworm, er Judas:

What a treat to read IN YOUR OWN WORDS that you approve of a military bought and paid for by neo-fascists.

You aren't just a disgrace to the people who have given their lives for freedom, you're a shame to our species.

And an idiot.

I actually have pity for you. Listen to the rhetoric that you DIRECTLY assign to me for feelings that most Americans have.

It's almost like you are personally trying to inflict emotional pain on me. Like trying to drive a stake in me.

You're obviously a very shallow, spiteful person. That's fine though, I know you hate me on ideological grounds.

Never tell me I'm a disgrace to Canadian and Coalition forces who kill terrorists though. I pray for, and support them all, the Coalition that is.

God bless the Aussies, the French, the Brits, the Canadians, and the US troops in harms way. I pray for them all.

Bluering, I like your style.

The fact that you keep your cool while libtards (some of whom cannot even spell or punctuate correctly) spew their asinine brayings at you from every side is commendable.
I refuse to take part, but hey, keep up the good work.

Parting thought:
"If you're not a liberal by the time you're twenty, you have no heart.
If you're not a conservative by the time you're forty, you have no brain."

I've never needed, or requested support from others here, but it's reassuring to me that I'm not alone in at least some of the thoughts I get constantly condemned for.

Cheers, Artrock!

Hey Judas, er blueringworm: I am not even slightly interested in your hypocritcal words of pity. My only ideology is common decency, while yours is greed and persecution of the needy.

From the very first of the posts I aimed in your direction, I have repeatedly asked you to define the "anything American" that you have accused the "commies" of being against, especially since your definition of a "commie" seems to consist of everyone who doesn't share your twisted ideology. Nevertheless, you lack the integrity to explain yourself.

You have indicated in your own words that you approve of a privately financed neo-fascist military. This attitude is so far beneath contempt that it borders on treason.

You and your ilk claim to be Christians while continually spewing an irrational hatred of the disadvantaged, poor, and infirm. I shouldn't have to remind you that Jesus was a good guy, and never in his life did he ever express approval of the vicious, sick ideas that you champion. You can be assured that in the afterlife, you will be expected to submit to divine judgement, and it is clear that you will be judged harshly for so cynically perverting the teachings of the Saviour that you claim to worship.

I stand by every word I have said, and here's some more: Canadians were shocked and horrified by the murder of two unarmed soldiers on our own soil recently. I am the son of a Canadian soldier, and personally acquainted with many others. They are courageous, decent people, and I have the deepest respect for our military - respect largely based upon the knowledge that the values that they defend have nothing in common with your sick beliefs. We neither want nor need support or sympathy from smug hypocrites like you.

By the way, it's annoying to see you cherry pick the comments of your adversaries while ignoring the rest of the post. Any arsehole can cut and paste, but it betrays your intellectual laziness. I suppose, on the positive side, it makes it easier to confirm that you're a morally bankrupt, drooling ninny.

Well, you haven't been around very long, or you haven't been paying attention, or your level of unacceptable is pretty damn high (low?), or you have differing standards for such comments according to whether you share their views or not.

That said, for all of the many years of blue's derogatory ad hominems & neo-misogynistic/racist commentary, he does keep on hanging in there. I'd be far more inclined to consider hanging out with him than some of his Republitard cohorts here.

I doubt seriously if blue has ever gone to the extent of stalking the personal information of one of his 'foes' here, and trying to use it for his own fecked up agenda. The guy is passionate about what he believes, but he can set it aside pretty easily and just hang out.

PS....if you are going to use spelling or punctuation as criteria for whose asinine brayings are more worthy, you need look no further than look to Nevada to find the bottom of the barrel.

Bump

Because the lines between being a conservative, voting Republican, and GOP politics are as upside down inside out as they have ever been.

Edit:

“Conservatives need a younger, smart, conservative who isn't a religious zealot. Someone who's an old school conservative that is willing to tell the country-club Repub's to go fu-k themselves.”

His ad hominems aside, I miss bluering.

I'm an old Reagan man myself. Worked on two of his campaigns, and was a paid staffer on two other Republican congressional races. Voted straight Republican until G.W.B. I am a rat who abandoned a sinking ship.

The GOP is dead. Conservatism is a farce. Everyone on the right has completely lost their ways. BITD one could stand proud and call themselves a conservative.

Nowadays the GOP and the conservatives are a conglomeration of religious fanatics, backward flat-earth fanatics, angry white racists, misogynists, rapists, and selfish bastards.

Seems like most of your political posts are just spewing hate. You demonstrate the very intolerance you condemn.
