I'd do a some time in the Army though. You'll learn everything you never wanted to know about cots. They are so very tricky with all those mechanisms and such. bwahahahaha!

Lynne, Most females would settle for one man. But then again, you are no ordinary woman.

Three Men in a Boat may provide helpful hints regarding the cot issue. Or it could be one of the bedtime stories at the FaceLift. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Men_in_a_Boat

The biggest problem with C-4 is size. It used to be 4 times bigger. It spread from twice as far west all up way the other side of the Columbia Boulder to the north, all the way to the talus.

But that was before it was "Saved". The overflow parking was on the other side of the road, in the Lodge cafe parking.

But that also was before it was "Saved".

Before it was saved it had TWO restrooms.

The people were not nearly so crammed into little 20 ft. square boxes, like the cubes at any work farm in the city.

So how is it that camp four is the only campground in the valley that packs so many into such a small space, with so few amenities? How is it that the resulting tiny areas generate more revenue than any of the other camps? Other camp sites are much larger, accept only one group, and are $25 bucks. Camp 4 feature multiple groups, and generate $30 bucks?

All the other campgrounds have better facilities too. More faucets, more stalls per person, even mirrors that have not been deliberately sandblasted and scoured. Camp 4 doesn't look or function anything like it did in its high days as a "drive in" family campground, or in its later days as a "backpackers" "walk-in" campground. Both incarnations of which were far better than the little rathole it now represents.

Camp 4 need to be saved. Rebuilt actually. You been robbed if you think thats Camp 4.

So why is it that the Camp 4 campground was "saved" for just what?
