Many of these photos belong on the lycra appreciation thread. Plus, on that thread I said we needed a short-short appreciation thread and I see many photo candidates here too.

It's for real, I'm here. Yay!

Dang it Mal...
That is just not fair...
You put a photo like that...
on a site like this...
a back that fantasies are made of...
all ripped and tanned with .2% body-fat...
in x-rated striped running shorts, no less!...
with friggin' chalk on your hands...
and you expect any of us gals...
to read anything more of this thread?
Or any others for that matter?
After seeing that
I think I'm just gonna have to go to bed.
It's not fair, Mal.
A verrrrrrrrry devious tactic indeed.

LOL, L! I was just starting to map the thread drift on this one. All over the place and I guess that I deserve most of the blame.

Sorry crimpie.

Okay...back on topic.

Cimpie, how the HELL did you fit all your bird cages into that truck?

Cheers,
Mal

Mal I asked Crimpstar the same question. She left all the old cages behind in SL and had new ones waiting in Boulder. I think she stuffed all the birds in a duffle bag or something.
And Mal you were a burly stud.

The birds road in pet taxis like a flock of champs. The old cages were donated to a parrot help center in STL. The new palaces were awaiting for them here. They love their new cages!

You and that imagination. First you're seeing phallus
symbols in rock towers, now drooling over Mal. . .

Yep Steve, it's a burden having an imagination like this. Gets me in all kinds of utterly fantastic trouble. :-)

Hey Crimpster--Let's see the bird palaces!

I'll show a bit of restraint and post only one bird cage photo. The news ones are just alike. That is Grace and Gabbie (on top). Each just turned 10 this week. They really love the playpen on top!

Notice the use of a retired rope on the bird cage. And here is a photo of Dave seriously belaying me on the top of Yellow Spur.

How old is 10 years old for birds? Are they
just young 'uns? What is the life span of those cute
guys?

Hey, did you see Dave in this month's issue of Climbing? He is "Unknown Climber" on the Naked Edge. You can tell it's him by his hair and because, well, it's the Naked Edge.

Steve, they could live to be 80 or more. Or die at anytime if they get ill. My oldest, Henri, is 30. I've had him his whole life. He is the other birds' father. His mate, Lilac, died about 7 years ago two weeks after Pickle (adopted in Arkansas) hatched. She showed no signs of illness and just dropped dead in a second. It was very sad. How is that for an answer: between 1 and 90 years. :)

I never look at climbing magazines--too many youngsters for me. . .plus all I do is study anymore anyway!!
Wow those birds could outlast all of us! (seriously, that's cool--kitties don't nearly go that long, but they rarely just
drop dead either). Hope they all live a long and pampered
life!!!

You're right, Crimpie, they do look happy.

So does Big Barefoot on the mountain top.

You must be doing something right...I'm really happy for you!

Great to see/meet y'all. Susan and I enjoyed our time at the pic-a-nic.

Susan had her first big projectile vomit this morning. Formula coming out of all orafices (mouth, nose, use your imagination...)! Sorry you all missed it!

We hope to do our first family climbing outing next weekend, assuming mommy gets the stamp of approval from the doc on Friday.

Baby calls...!!!! Catch you around the rocks.

No Sir Matt,
I made that jacket myself, for myself.
'Handy with a needle and thread don't you know.

... and you probably missed my nighttime winter solo ski cross-dresser thread then?
Jello approved.
'Wish I could find that ditty, buried as it is somewhere deep in the Supertopo newspaper stack.
