Here's my bottom line Lois. I don't mind if you stay and don't mind if you go. Just wanted to say goodbye with some distinction.

Here's my bottom line. It kills me when you jump into a discussion and turn the topic into Me Me Me. Some of the more serious topic require more focus than that and your presence sometime derails something special.

knock off that Loisification. Now the idea of using threads you start or are invited too is a great idea. Do you have the discipline to stick with it?

Peace

Karl

Pete:

Loisification is when the original topic of a thread is derailed by a self-referential feedback loop that turns the subject to the poster's personality and not the issues.

How about the ability to defend oneself effectively against those who are ever driven to change Lois

"Karl, maybe you should get a law passed since you don't have the self-control to ignore the offending posts."

I agree Jody think I've learned my lesson. But the problem is, there's always the next guy to fall into the trap, Singer, Moosie, and Khanom, etc.

I don't care if there's fluff threads where we chat with lois. I just don't like it when an actual discussion turns into "all about Lois"

I don't mind folks I don't agree with (Is that us sometimes?) It's just that if I don't agree with Chaz, a topic about Global Warming doesn't turn into 12 pages about what he feeds his donkey and why his relationship with his friends keeps him from reading the links to data on the subject.

So, Lois is like a vampire now, you have to invite her in before she can bite your neck and suck the life out of your precious thread?

Will garlic stop her?

What about holy water?

Where's Van Helsing when you really need him?

People have spoken cause they like to hear themselves talk. YOU should be ashamed for caving to a bunch of mamma's boys, with their blanky in one hand and a dirty cookie in the other.

Dirt's first law of posting threads on the internet:

Once you post it, you have no control over where it goes. Period.

Anyway Lois, I'm making an official invitation to YOU, Lois, Pre-eminent Grand Pariah of ST, to visit any thread I ever have posted or will post.

IF you make me feel like throwing up I'll do my best to throw up on you, but I'd like to hear it first ( and proably 30 more times), from you, and I always find you funny, even when you're trying to be serious.

YOU are more entertaining (for whatever reason) than most posters here, by far.

Just so you know, in the Victorian era, legs, even table legs, were referred to as limbs, because the mere mention of the word, or the sight of a even a table leg, might drive men wild with desire, and who know what might have happened?

This is why we have table skirts, so men would not see those erotic table legs and go sexually berserk.

"...so as to not injure some of these very fragiles egos here or else "destroy" precious threads. If we were all dogs, apparently, it seems, that I am a pit bull. So, I am trying to be a "nice" pit bull and not bite all these lovely people who I have been (apparently) so agregiously injuring."

So I'm guessing that when Lois said she didn't want to hurt anyone, it was just bullsh#t, since she's - repeatedly - made remarks like this ever since.

I don't quite see here playing one of those miniscule fiddles as she harps on, but....just about. As for a dog analogy, pit bull's hardly it. More like the persian cat that won't stop crapping all over the home, despite the efforts of others "trying everything" to remedy the situation.

That's all rhetorical Lois. No need to respond to it.

Lois - if you are anything remotely like your online persona in real life, I would most definitely not like you. People who can't focus, who can't see what's really going on in human interactions, bug the flying f*#k out of me. I stay as far away from them as possible.

You're really - a jerk. And I'm sorry if you have backers who think you're a nice person, naive and innocent. They're too kind.

If you are DMT, then this is all excusable. Though a total waste of talent(DMT - you are talented even if Lois isn't your internet invention. I've been wondering why you don't blog?)

Does anyone else think DMT should blog? Wouldn't they be interested in it? Even write books, for heaven's sake. At least for the climbing rags, he's that good.
