so...trying to prevent accidents by the new girl using positive reinforcement--a treat whenever she pees outside

now, she runs into the yard, turns and makes eye contact, sits down for 10 seconds and runs back to me for a treat--hilarious

the accidents occur at night and she doesn't bark...how do i teach her to wake me up when she needs to go out

i was spoiled by maggie (rip); she would pee whenever i told her to, including right after she peed

Yellow leaves starting to show around the crags now, in a few weeks they'll be peaking. Our low-impact crag dog having another nice day.

Miss Penny Underfoot is a tough old broad, kind of the Katherine Hepburn of dogs complete with a tremor and an unwavering strength of spirit. She got in a little scrap with her buddy Jasper, about what only dogs can tell, and wears her bloodied and swollen lower jaw with pride.

Shes a big fan of cooling off after a fight to plot the appropriate revenge.

This is my little girl Polar, she's a 5-year old wooly Malamute, and she's my best hiking/snowshoeing buddy. We were out enjoying the beautiful autumn colors in Colorado last weekend.

Dammit all. Cosmick, I love your stuff but what you did to The RoseBud is wrong. Totally wrong.
Well it has some cuteness...ok, a lot, because it is her!

Dang Cosmic. Them's fightin' words.

That's how my dog looks to someone who's had a few tokes too many. ;-)

We had a great roadtrip.
Rosie is a awesome traveling dog.

We started off at some sh¡thole crag in the middle of fûcking nowhere.

Then back to Josh

Then to the beach

We picked up her mama in LA
then up to Santa Barbara for a show.
I'd lined up a pet friendly hotel but while in Josh I met a nice guy
who ran a pet boarding place in Ventura.
Here's a text he sent me while we were at the concert

It was her first boarding experience and she did great.

Then it was back to the beach.
The waves were pumping and Rosie was stoked.

We stayed at a pet friendly hotel.

Lots of beach time with old and new friends

Adaptable, well behaved, and small...the perfect road dog!
