I just worked while I watched the second half of England vs US women's friendly. It was a good game. I'm giving no spoilers in case any of you have a chance to watch it tonight, but I think the best team won. The officiating looked pretty bad to me, but it evened out - maybe.

Eniola Aluko came on as a sub for England at 79min, and she looked to be playing at a different speed.

Thanks for the heads up Darwin.

Will look for a replay online.

I watch alot of soccer on this site "Football Origin".

Good for replays, and bbc "Match of the day."

Cheers.

PSG vs Chelsea and Bayern vs Shaktar today!
Predicting,

PSG & Chelsea 1-1 draw.

Bayern 4-0.

So I think the second leg will matter in the PSG/Chelski game.

Zeee Germans look pretty unstoppable at the moment. Pep has got them firing on all cylinders.

Spurs were trying to get Van Gaal before Moyes got axed at United. Looks like we dodged a bullet there, United look very poor. Getting results, but the football isn't worth watching.

And poor 'ol Aston Villa, hiring Dim Tim Sherwood. I feel sorry for them and their fans. The day Tottenham told him to do one was a very good day us.

Saw the second half of Chelski. Too bad the hot dog slipped off of the
mustard for Cavani. Zlatan almost won it in the last minute. There's no
doubt in my mind that Courtois is the top keeper in the game. Don't get
why The Special One didn't put his subs in until well in to the 80's. But
then I don't get what he gets paid, either.

Chelsea is so boring to watch, but yeah Reilly their keep is fun to watch.

Didn't get to watch Bayern, but 0-0? Die Rotens are in a little bit of a slump, despite their 8-0 route over Hamburg last week. Have I ever said I am not a Pep fan?

Marcelo is bad ass. His "weak foot" goal was a missile.

Bayern and Real are a little beat up though, Barca might be the best right now.

I saw the last 30 minutes of that. Funny about that momentum thang, huh?
Schalke looked inspired and then that blast went off the bar and Marcelo
scores 5 minutes later. That Ronaldo guy's pass to Marcelo was definitely
worthy. What really impressed me was the Schalke fans' rabid fervor til
the end.

The paper today has an article about Chelsea fans on a Metro train refusing
to let a French black man onto their car. An Englishman took a video of
them chanting "We're racist, we're racist, and we're proud of it." Chelsea
should be kicked out of the Champions League for the rest of this season and
next. But they won't because, well, we know why.

Schalke do have the best fans. Last year they were down like 5-0 to Real, but continued to chant and support they're club. You would have thought they were up and when they got one back, they went nuts.

I hope Chelsea fans get the ban for the remainder (hopefully 1 game) of the tournament.

Edit: spot on about momentum Reilly, Saint Iker touching the post said it all.

So, Justin, why is Drogba on Mourinho's bench if he isn't gonna use him?
What's he saving him for? He isn't exactly over-worked. It seems to my
pea brain that the last 20 minutes of an away draw is just what you want
him for. He's on my list of top scorers/touch. Too bad nobody keeps that
stat. I think Romario is head of that list.

That's just how the Special One is I guess. He has his favorites and doesn't play his bench. Andre Schurrle was another player that saw little to no playing time and anyone who watched what he did for Germany would have started him most games. So glad he went to the Wolves, cause he is fun to watch.

Drogba plays the game right and is a born scorer, no matter what his age. Maybe Chelsea fans don't like him
;-)

So will Barca destroy the Citizens tomorrow? I think they will, but they struggled against Malaga over the weekend.

Reilly, if The Arsenal can't beat Monaco, you might as well complete your sex change and go full on Hotspur.

EPL is getting good.

^YES!
I should clarify that the game should be good. I am remarkably blind to gender decisions/subtleties, especially Reilly's.

But my allegiances are divided. I think I have to side with City. I just can't root for the Biting Cheater, the poor disturbed lad, and the Castellano+Basque side of the family think the Catalans whine too much. Barca is slightly favored, right?

Ha, here's an article on why the Citizens should sell Arguero so the can afford Suarez.
I swear the rumors in European Football are unmatched.
I would hang on to Aguero, but Suarez is one of the few that can replace him.

I think Barca will win by two today, but would like to see City win.

I have been a Reus fan for awhile now, but even more so after the above article. He could have signed anywhere, but stayed at home on a team that is struggling.
Hope Dortmund can put the Old Lady to bed today.

30 minutes and City doesn't have a shot on goal; game over .

Messi, Neymar, and Suarez are the great South American Three Headed Monster. Suarez does the biting, will he trick?

I've been watching Dortmund v Juventus, cause I figured it would be a better game. It's been good so far, Dortmund should probably be winning, but Juve can score and have. 2-1 at half.

Not a bad way to spend the day in bed with the stomach flu, averaging a good porcelain session every forty minutes. But get to watch some great football.
