That's the one Steve. Besides his biting tactics, he is fun to watch and plays with a lot of heart.

Reilly I tried watching MLS this year. Got about thirty minutes in and had to turn it off. I wonder how long until it is a top league where European players want to play in their prime? Maybe never.

Maybe never?

BwaHaHaHaHa! You can't learn moves like Messi's or CR7's dribbling around cones on a
manicured lawn in Suburbia. The only way is on a rock-strewn grassless lot or in a street
dodging mopeds. The key ingredient missing here is growing up watching your dad and your
uncles screaming themselves silly for the team their dad did the same for. You gotta want it
bad and suburban American kids don't want anything bad except the latest phone or video game.

I guess our only hope is to invade Europe and take over their leagues. I don't care about lower oil prices, I want better futbol.

I watched the MLS championsip game yesterday. 119 minutes of bad futbol and 120 minutes of poor refereeing. Passing is essential. The last time I saw so many players kick the ball forward without an intended recepient was when my son was playing U-10 AYSO.

MLS is still a third-rate league, and likely will be for a long time.

I watched my first Champions' League match this year and picked a good 'un
to watch - Roma/Man City. Proud win for City at Roma although Roma really
didn't look like their hearts were in it although they were tied for second
with City in their group. Roma nearly went ahead on a brilliant run by
Gervinho whose fine shot was just tipped by Joe 'Safe As Houses' Hart.
City went up on Nasri's laser from 21 yards. Why that bloke doesn't score
more is beyond me. Dzeko continued in his funk, even costing City a goal
when he fouled a Roma defender while Navas was scoring! I called my Bosnian
friend Almer who promised to call him and help him get his head screwed back
on right. Really good game by Milner, too.

After watching part of that pathetic MSL title game Sunday it was good to
see some proper footie played today and get that taste out of me mouth.

Barsa 'squeaked' by today, too. How can they ever lose?

That said I don't think it fair they should have benefited from L'Affaire Suarez.

Arsenal significantly now regretting giving up that 3 goal lead against Anderlecht. Again stuck in the second pot and again probably going to land one of Bayern/RM/Barca.

Just finished watching Barca and PSG. Zlatatan's goal was pretty good, Neymar's even better, Suarez, and Messwho's were hustling to get there goals. Four goals by four of the best players in the game.

Barca did look shakey on d today. Real and Bayern have the advantage over Barca.

I have to say, James Milner has been a pleasure to watch this year. The guy's a stud and way more talented than most folks give him credit for....Work horse sure but great skill too.

Champions League Draw
Barca Vs Man City. Go citizens, but Barca will win

Real Madrid Vs. Schalke. Bets on Real scoring 15 goals in the two legs?

Bayern Vs. Shakhtar. No contest.

PSG Vs. Chelsea. This should be one of the better match ups. Zlatan against his favorite manager. Can there be two Special Ones though? Go PSG!

Arsenal Vs. Monaco. Team Reilly has a real good chance of destroying this team. I read AS Monaco only scored 4 goals and somehow won their group.

Juve Vs. Dortmund. Dortmund's only chance at success is in the Champions League this year. Don't see them beating Juve the way they have been playing, but this should be a good match up too.

Atletico Vs Leverkusen. I think this could be a good macth up, but Atletico has got the advantage for sure.

Porto Vs Basel. One of these teams will be going on to the next round. I can almost guarantee that.

Geez, man, you scare me when you run it out like that! Sadly, neither of them deserve to
advance. As you note PSG and The Blues are the only iffy draw although I think Chelsea's D
will shut down the Bosnian traitor.

Reilly, you mean to tell me that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not a Swedish name? Cause it sounds like it would have been a pretty badass viking name.
Yeah a dad from Bosnia and a mother from Croatia created one of the greatest footballers of all time. Just ask him and he'll tell you.

You are right though, I do see Chelsea's stubborn defense being a big obstacle for most teams. PSG could beat them. Barca, Real, and Bayern are the only teams that have a clear advantage over Chelsea this year.

Stevie G has made it. He will retire in LA. I might have to go watch a f*#king MLS game.

Real won 22 straight and now have lost 3 in a row. One was a friendly though.

Watching Barca lately, Messi is rubbing off on Suarez as far as being a creator. Neymar, Messi, and Suarez are fun to watch. Besides his rabid tooth, I love how Suarez plays the game.

Spurs made Chelski look bad the other day.
