I like when he looks like a drunk.

Looking pretty special.

I would rather have Jose over Pep!

Sacramento Republic Football Club finished it's first season with a USL championship. Gives us a really good shot of them moving up to being a MLS team.

Haha.

that and 40 million buy in fee and a new stadium would do it.

There is no promotion/ relegation in MLS.

Well, I was up too late having dinner with Kobe so I couldn't bring myself
to set the alarm. But I did catch the end of the match - not too surprising,
sadly. Rather less than magnanimous it was for The Special One to bolt down
the tunnel at full time, eh? One would have thought he might have enjoyed a
good stare into Arsene's eyes.

I must say it was a bit of a revelation to watch the ensuing West Ham vs QPR
match. Despite Rangers' seeming lack of interest during the first half West Ham
did show me that their inhospitable treatment of Liverpool was not a fluke -
there's some talent and spirit amongst that lot!

Chelsea is looking pretty unstoppable in the EPL right now. Hopefully someone can give them a run for the title.

week 8 of the EPL year...

Anybody keeping tabs?

Or, like me, catch as much as you can when you can in the hopes of finding out what the rest of the world is up to?

Watching the Liverpool v Real game.
Ronaldo is the best in the world. Not even close to my favorite player, but he is"majesterial."

Watched that game a little earlier... great game... the shot from Ronaldo was pretty sweet looking...

I thought the Roma v Bayern Munchen game from the 21'st...

Absolute magic... Training ground test pieces all working to Bayern's advantage... kind of sad for Roma... but to see teamwork like that in action is something special.
Not to mention Manuel Neuer put on a goalie clinic until Roma was able to convert...

Ronaldo is the best in the world.

May be true... but thankfully, there is a never ending supply of greats all around the world...

Yeah Jingy, Bayern scored six over the weekend and seven yesterday. That game was a lot like Germany vs Brazil. Glad you are getting to watch some football Jingy!

Liverpool are bad this year. They need Sturridge back badly. Would have liked to see last year's Reds play Real yesterday. Would have been an exciting game, but Real would have still beat them, I believe.

El Classico this weekend should be the game of the year thus far. Especially if Suarez plays.

Agreed. However, I have little memory of last years Liverpool without the aid of a recap of some kind.

The Classico should be great. Just read that Bale will be out for the game... So, who teams up with Ronaldo for trading goals? Oh yeah, the delivery perfection of Kroos..

Sorry, just looked at the team roster for Real... just looked at Barca...

If these players are all on the field at the same time... This is set to be most exciting....

later edit:
Just watched an incredible Tottenham goal in the Europa League match... was amazing!!

Most defitely later Edit:
Here is a reflection of the game I noted above.. I cannot understand the announcer...but the emotion and intensity of the moment gets through just the same to me...

I was able to find a rebroadcast on you tube... What this video misses is the outstanding job Manuel Neuer put on in the first half... Noted in this blog entry...
Manuel Neuer - I know, how can I suggest a keeper who didn't have that much to do, until the game was essentially decided? Well, he still turned in a world class performance, denying Roma even a sliver of hope, turning away point blank shots at will. He was powerless to stop the only goal scored by the Italians, as that one can be blamed on his defense (who looked a little sluggish in the 2nd half) and the linesman (who missed a close offside call on Gervinho).

Football is so big in Italia they keep goals handy in case you need to set up a quick game on the tracks...

Nice pic Reilly.

The classic El Clasico was fun to watch. Real pretty much made Barca look bad. Without Bale. They are loaded with talent.

Suarez will make Barca much better once they get comfortable.

Is the American football disease leaking to other cultures now?

Next they're going to say that men are not to blame in any of this domestic violence.
