Whoa, Tradman, that's messed up. I never met Tad, but I did here and always enjoyed his posts. It was cool to see his van buildup thread. All gone. WTF? Went climbing in Pine Creek yesterday. That was good! Here's a pic that I effin' own:

I hope most of you continue to post if the forum stays up. I hope to meet you someday, Lynnie. We have mutual friends--Aeriq and Justthemaid.

Not sure what to think about what's been going down here this week. Looking back at my time on this site - I realize how many of my meaningful experiences and relationships over the last decade were made possible through ST . It's my hope that when the dust settles, the site will continue in some form and a lot of us will still be around.

People having hissy fits , overreacting and deleting their accounts makes me sad- I wish they could just walk away and stop posting without scorching the earth and destroying the continuity of many of the threads forever. I talked my husband off that ledge and months later- he's relieved he didn't pull that trigger. It's selfish IMPO.

As a side story- BITD... rockclimbing.Com underwent a similar transformation. They changed owners- photo hosting disappeared overnight (eliminating every photo that wasn't a click-link) and there were some other changes that weren't so great initially pissing a bunch of people off. There was a mass exodus here to ST ( Me, Happi, DMT, Dirtineye, and Cosmic moved here at that time- just to name just a few i can remember off the top of my head) That site persevered and many of the friendships continued, so I dont despair.

Peace To everyone

Thanks for letting me know zBrown! Appreciate! And again thanks for the kind thoughts you guys. The climbing community is different from the real world. It accepts nearly anyone and helps out where it can and does it quickly unlike people in "regular life." imho

zBrown and anyone, can you find out if the first thread I ever posted is still there? I can't even remember the name, but it was tons of pictures of several bouldering contests in So Cal back in the late 70's early 80's.

If you can tell me how to check threads I've posted I'd also appreciate that. Gracias!

Lynne, I looked through your photo file. It looks to me like your file is safe. I couldn't find any offending photos. Could be wrong, but I didn't see any.

I couldn't figure out which thread you meant.

Here is a link to a list of what I believe is all of the threads that you started.

http://www.supertopo.com/forumsearch.php?v=0&cur=0&ftr1=&ftr2=&ftr3=&ftr4=Lynne+Leichtfuss&scope=topics

The way I found it was to search for something like bouldering. Then when on the search page. delete bouldering. Add your name to Author nickname line. then click below that.. Search only forum topics.

hope that helps.

Lynnie you can also go up to the search, go to forum and next to it type in your copyright name. All of your posts that you legally owned and have apparent copyright to should be posted there....if of course they were not deleted without your prior knowledge or permission, which of course is apparently not needed or considered here.
Peace

You coming over this weekend? Did Kelly talk with you yet?

Hey thanks John M and Ron! I think my family has nabbed me for Sunday....
Tomorrow my van goes in for its 200,000 mile check up. Hoping and praying for the best or I'll be starting a "Vehicle" thread. Cheers. :)

zBrown....big hugs, so cool!!!, not the thread I was looking for but loved seeing these. I'd totally forgotten about them. So good to see Wendell, TGT, he was a super person to climb with even tho some didn't care for his politics. Again, big THX!

I haven’t posted much, as I haven’t climbed much for a couple of years. But a thought, I would not have reconnected with POTECB (princess of the El Cap bridge) Denise Umstot, who was my next door neighbor in SF, and enjoying being with her and her new son, Soren (captain obvious) ,when he was so young. 15+ year gap... and meet her along with Russ Lenarz, (Slakey) at Facelift. If it wasn’t for this place, that wouldn’t have happened. Among many other attributes, that’s why I like it here.

zBrown, Dude! You found it!!! I will go through it to see if I need to delete anything. Is it possible to save these threads somewhere? Your gift is better than a Chocolate Bunny, THX!!! :)

Blanck1, I think we are all working thru it. Susan Walker was right, don't jump ship right yet.

The short answer is

I will save it for you

For now

Though it likely is not going anywhere

Will explain it all at a later time

Lynne, regarding your thread:
http://www.supertopo.com/climbers-forum/603398/Some-Old-Pics-and-Slides-Soon-Ready-for-ST-Viewing

I saved a copy of it in PDF on January 27, 2019.
At that time, all of your pictures, or most of them except for some which you had either deleted or moved within your photo hosting site, were intact.

I just put it in dropbox for you and sent you the link. As of the time of this message, it hasn't completed loading. You might need to give it an hour or so.
