The patio at the Ahwahnee Hotel . Alan Bard,Craig Calonica & I were asked to leave the dining room their one morning when we had been eating the -all-you-could -eat Sunday -brunch for only a few hours!

Awahnee Brunch lol...oh dem Valley Bourgeoisie...

Reminds me of watching Fish hold court at the Awahnee Sweet Shop...pretty sure he is responsible for it getting shut down lol. Oh the humanity that was offended by dem dirty baggins.

I gotta second Locker on Sam's.

I heartily un-recommend the hobo butt-meat gyro in Baker, though I suppose that there is always a second time for anything.

"We didn't come here to eat lunch; we came here to face death!"
T.M. Herbert (when his partner was complaining about the food brought on the climb...)

I like this quote, so in the trip reports I write, I have a fairly strict policy of describing the climbing and not the food.
Although I expect it could be extremely boring to describe what I eat!

When climbing Oak Flats/Queen Creek = Los Hermanos Restaurant & Lounge and also Porters Caf (In the lot with "The Worlds Smallest Museum")...

I'll second Los Hermanos. Porters is on Main St., though, and not adjacent to the museum.

My memory must have slipped...

Not Porters then...

The place is in the same lot as "The World Smallest Museum"...

Hey DMT, how long has Alicia's been there? I don't remember it on my forays to Burst and Frankenstein. I dig local bakeries and always try and hit them up.

We'd hit Pie in the Sky on the way back down, it is tasty but the crust is a little lacking..
