Joshua Tree:

Stoney Point:
The Country Deli

Hey DMT, how long has Alicia's been there? I don't remember it on my forays to Burst and Frankenstein. I dig local bakeries and always try and hit them up.

We'd hit Pie in the Sky on the way back down, it is tasty but the crust is a little lacking..

I agree with Sam's in Joshua Tree. Pretty good food.
Plus the market next door has quite a good selection of stuff

The snake satay and the curried snake at Railay are....well....different. Both slide down nicely.

Everyone loves the burger barn...but they don't get inspected and I always feel like sh#t after I've eaten there.

I prefer holy smoke BBQ, mahogany meats sandwiches, the Tai restaurant at the airport and upper crust pizza. Food is expensive in bishop...so cooking up some meats on a grill while watching the sunset is still the best option!

Why doesn't Burger Barn get inspected?

And I've cooked many a burger on my smokey joe in the Pleasant Valley campground...

Donut Nation in Los Banos. On the way to the Valley from the West.

AND, if Clint is in the car, any fast food joint with a drive-thru that still has a dollar menu.

While we're doing Los Banos - Carneceria La Michoacana, on the north side of 152 / 33 towards the west end of town...awesome, bomber burritos and dinner plates. You'll probably be the only caucasian in there.

The food in the Hörnli Hutte is actually quite gut but it doesn't compare to any number of places in town (that Italian joint is excellent) but you can really enjoy yer aprés-send in any number of joints in Chamonix.
