Sam E is a hard climber and safe partner and knows Stoney (and Jtree) very well.
You can find partners on bulletin boards at Nomad Ventures in the town of Joshua Tree or better yet on the bulletin boards of Hidden Valley Campground 13 miles inside the park from the West Entrance.

"Pud" was the nickname of my next door neighbor when I was a teenager. A friend, an excellent surfer and all around good guy that died way too young.

Pud - you are so utterly insignificant I completely forgot about you. You're bringing up stuff from years ago when I posted a photo after a bad motorcycle accident. That had to be 4 or 5 years ago. Get over it. Move on and try to be positive if you can.

Perfect example why I rarely frequent this site anymore. Any thread or inquiry can and will quickly devolve into personal attacks or other nonsense.
For what it is worth, Levy is a super competent and experienced climber and a good guy to boot.
And, while handing out endorsements, Todd Gordon is the one of the best human beings on the planet, and knows Joshua Tree better than anyone. You'll have a blast climbing with Todd, and anyone would be honored to call him a friend.

Levy (bill?) sent me an email full of slander. Not man enough to say it in person. He simply identified his true self by doing so.
You guys can give him all the man love you want but he's a coward and I will say that to his face anyday.
